Pros: Small, frees up remaining plug for other use. Detected my wifi with no effort at all. Utilizing Alexa with no problems Cons: Instructions could have been a bit more detailed regarding the Alexa App (or any app for that matter) connection BUT, even at age 68 I managed to figure it all out in a matter of 5 minutes. Overall Review: I do recommend this product and do plan to purchase two more in the future. Newegg’s shipping was superb to say the least. Free shipping and arrived in only two days.

Pros: The Wemo Mini smart plug is awesome. I bought 2 of them and they both have been working perfectly about 2 weeks. I just ordered 2 more from Newegg. I have them tied to my Google Home Smart system. I can walk in the house and say OK Google, turn on the living room light and the lights are on. Can also set up timers on the APP to turn on at random times of the day to make it look like I am home, I have a radio plugged into it also that also makes it appear someone is home. Cons: None that I can think of Overall Review: I have a Sentsy pot plugged into one of them and have it set up to come on randomly to keep the house smelling nice. So many uses for these things.

Pros: We used this smart plug on our Christmas Tree lights and it works very well. Once Christmas is over I am not sure where we are going to plug the device into. Perhaps the lamp beside my chair or somewhere else. It certainly has it’s benefits of being able to, from your smart phone, remotely activate the lamp when you are away from home. Cons: We have both an Iphone and a android. I found it so difficult to install the app and get it functioning from the Iphone that I gave up and provisioned it on the Android. I also had a very difficult time configuring it to operate on the Google home. I believe that it is was because the instructions were not clearly written. Overall Review: It works very well once you get it installed and functioning.

Pros: – when it works, it works well – easy to setup when it sets up. – Worked on basic home network gear (ActionTec, Netgear, Asus home routers) Cons: – could not get to work in UniFi environment – support could only say “we don’t support Enterprise networking gear” – support could not specify what aspect or setting conflicted or offer any useful path to debug Overall Review: A frustrating experience over all. Not worth the time spent for me. I’ll be looking for other brands going forward. But I will say when used on gear where it connected, then it was reliable and did the job. Customer support recommending I downgrade my entire SOHO home networking environment as a solution to their cheap plug was worth a good laugh anyway.
