Overall Review: This little cam has made a big difference in my video calls. I have an older Dellxps, the one with the camera at the bottom of the screen, a location that renders the camera utterly useless. I’ve gone through a myriad of cheap external cameras over the years, most of which sucked and didn’t last long. You get what you pay for. Naturally my expectations were quite low for this one too, but to my surprise, it’s fantastic. It sits on top of my thin screen with quite a lot of stability and the picture is unexpectedly bright and clear, even in relatively low light. Look guys, I’m not filming loreal commercials here – I use it for business and family video calls and not much else. And within that context, it has far exceeded my expectations.

Pros: This is my first webcam. I purchased it to use for Zoom meetings. A friend recommended it. The picture and audio quality have been great. I had one issue with it. I learned that the back of my webcam would get very, very hot. I was concerned about safety, as I did not want the device to catch fire. I sent an e-mail to the company’s support unit explaining the issue, and they immediately responded and sent me a replacement device. Well, the same problem recurred. I again reached out to the support unit and was asked by them if there was sufficient ventilation for the unit. I said that there was. Later, though, I realized that although there was sufficient ventilation on all sides of the unit, there was no ventilation underneath it. So, I made adjustments on its placement, which resulted in the device no longer getting excessively hot. It’s a little inconvenient, but it’s worth it. Overall Review: The device works great and costs considerably less than many others.

Pros: It works Cons: Im not sure if its my room or no back lighting but the contrast is insanely high. Another con I can think of is the 30fps cap as it says up to. A couple other things would be the webcam attached to the monitor. If you have a thin monitor it doesnt fit. You have to tape it lol. Last thing would be the auto focus its pretty bad. I dont think it understands when it should focus or not so it appears very buggy. Additionally is the no driver part. Drivers dont exist so you cant update it or try and change anything. You may need to install additional software and see if it works. Not too impressed Overall Review: Over all its not a great webcam. Its definitely usable and may just be a user issue but from my experience so far its not too great.
