Pros: – Works well, I use it for storage. Cons: – Even with the updated USB connection (yes I’ve plugged it into the appropriate usb port on my new motherboard) it’s still a slow external drive. – It runs very hot, I have it unplugged right now and point a fan on it when it is running. – It claims to have ‘active cooling’ which I stupidly took to mean ‘internal fan’ but it definitely doesn’t it’s covered in plastic which doesn’t help it dissapate heat. – This is slower than most internal…

Pros: I bought this product to hold my collosal library of Steam Games. Easy to setup, easy to use – I haven’t noticed any latency at all when trying to load games. The best part is, if I want to use my steam games on another PC, I can just bring the drive with me! Pros: – Good transfer rates – Plenty of storage Cons: – Cables – A bit of heat Overall Review: Got this drive for video editing. Wanted something large to store everything, raw video and edited content. With 8TB, I can’t imagine filling this up anytime soon. Tested with UserBenchmark’s test, this drive was averaging Transfer Rates around 200 MB/s.
