Pros: I got this in June 2016 when I moved into my new home with a dedicated home theater. You will be hard pressed to find a better sub $1000 projector out there. Colors are great and so is brightness with good enough zoom and other options that make this a truly versatile projector. Built in speaker are decent if you don’t want to hook it up to a sound system. Keyword is decent. Don’t expect high fidelity sound of it. I have it setup 10 feet away for a 120 inch screen on my wall. My media room is completely light controlled and I have set it up for eco mode settings (lowest brightness) which should last me 6500 hours so they claim. Paired it up with a Onkyo TX NR646 sound system with 7.1 surround sound (Polk Audio TL1600). I primarily use it for streaming via Roku and HTPC. The A/V experience is a light controlled room is amazing. My kids love PBS kids on this and watching football on 120 inch screen is an sensory experience I don’t have words for. Cons: Remote control is cheapy and UI is kind of 1990s. But for less than $800 should I really complain??? Lens has no cover so be careful unpacking it and try not touching the lens Has a little louder than most fan that hums but it is only noticeable if you are sitting under the projector directly. The fan noise is not an issue when watching TV/Movies. Overall Review: I have tested this in moderate ambient light and the viewing experience is ok. Sure you can turn up the brightness but you will be going through a $200+ dollar bulb much faster.

Pros: crystal clear!! bright!! Cons: fan is a little loud. Overall Review: this is my first projector and I am very impressed with this model. The picture is clear and bright. 4k is too expensive right so this should hold me over till the prices come down. the fan is a little on the loud side but its not deal breaker

Pros: I have the projector displaying my desktop computer, from which I primarily watch tv and movies, as well as my Nintendo game systems. I have four floor length windows running 12 feet perpendicular to the screen, which casts a lot of light, even with a curtain. This projector still shows a clear, image saturated with color in daylight or with the lights on inside. I happened to buy this used, and it was in much better condition than I expected (even though there was no power cord). The remote lights up and the buttons are easy to depress, so that is just a nice bonus. My favorite feature hands down is the resolution. I project from the ceiling, 13 feet away, and the image is so crisp and it fills the entire screen. Very easy on the eyes. FYI: You need to get a 4k hdmi cord to transmit the picture or the image will turn to snow and/or green screen. Cons: Did not include power cord, but the projector was purchased used. Overall Review: All in all, this was a worthy purchase which exceeded my expectations.

Pros: Absolutely fabulous picture (once you tweak it a bit) out of the box the picture is kind of blown-out due to the outstanding brightness of this projector. After a little tweaking BAM! 4k beauty! Cons: The only con I can think of is that with this projector ceiling mounted there is a ‘boomerang shaped’ lighted area on my ceiling it’s not really an issue as far as effecting the operation of the projector nor the quality of the picture, it’s just a little distracting. Overall Review: I would absolutely recommend this projector! For the price point it’s unbeatable!

Pros: – Excellent picture quality – Bright enough even with some ambient lighting Cons: – Slow startup (slower than my previous benq projector) – A bit annoying noise pitch. However no noise at all in less bright “silent” mode – No auto power off when the signal is present (only when there is no signal). Other projectors offer such option. Overall Review: Very good 4k DLP XPR projector with only a few cons. I use it with 140″ screen and it is bright enough for watching TV even with some ambient light. Of course movies are better watched in complete darkness. Excellent value for money.
