Pros: I am using this in client mode to get internet to my receiver. My receiver has an ethernet port but no wifi. This thing basically turns any device with an ethernet port into a wifi device. Now i have internet radio and my receiver connects to my computer, so i can play from my music list on the computer! My router is about 25 feet away from the tp-link and there is one wall in between as well. And this thing works flawlessly!!! been using it for a month now with zero problems Cons: kind of a pain to set up for client, but not too bad. the ethernet cable that came with this unit was bad and needed to be replaced right out of the box. no biggie, replaced it with a better one anyway Overall Review: if you have problems with it connecting to your device in client mode, check the ethernet cable. that is the only prioblem i had

Pros: Easy to set up Nice and small Cons: None so far Overall Review: *** Full Disclosure – I work in IT so I have a lot of experience setting up network hardware *** I bought this for my Ooma because it was much cheaper than the Ooma wireless adapter. So, it’s running as a wireless bridge. Set up took 10 minutes at most. The only issue I had with this was that DHCP server was still running even though I had it set up as a wireless bridge – easy enough to turn off. I will be buying a second one to use for travelling.

Pros: None Cons: Does not connect to any network. Overall Review: I’ve wasted 4 days or so troubleshooting this system so far. It will not pick up my home network no matter what I do to it, no matter what type of computer that I use. TP-Link is a complete waste of time and money. You couldn’t pay me to take one of their products ever again.

Pros: – Excellent price – Can operate in multiple configurations: 1) Router 2) Wireless Access Point 3) Wireless Bridge 4) Wireless Repeater – Compact size is excellent for travel – Able to run OpenWrt – USB Powered – Good range – Two channel wireless radio – Throughput of up to 300 Mb/s Cons: – Very limited RAM – To install OpenWrt over the stock firmware, the only option is to use TFTP. – No ability to add extra memory via USB or MMC Overall Review: I ordered two of these when they were on sale. I had a little bit of difficulty when trying to flash the device with OpenWrt, but that’s because the instructions on the OpenWrt page for this device were not clear. Once I understood the process, flashing it was very easy. I bought two units: one unit to carry with me when I travel, the other to use on my PS4 to as a range extender and to reduce bufferbloat/latency. I have been very happy with the device so far. The factory firmware isn’t terrible, but OpenWrt is so much better. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the device. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the low amount of memory (64 MB for RAM and storage) with no way to increase the storage capacity.

Overall Review: I found this to be incredibly easy to set up to expand the wifi in the house, as everyone is working from home now. So just plugging it into the new Powerline adapter and… well, that was it. I logged into the IP and changed a few settings but the process was seamless and a lot less frustrating than other routers I’ve used.

Overall Review: I use this to get Chromecast to work on an RV park’s wifi. It uses the Park’s wifi and creates a network within my RV so devices can see each other.
