Overall Review: I bought one of these to cool a computer room that gets lots of afternoon sun. It cools the room well and my dog really has been enjoying sleeping in front of it. Its fairly quiet and moves alot of air. Highly recommend.

Overall Review: Ive only had this thing for one day, but its so hot here in NYC, that i have to sing its praises right now.It cooled down the area i was in (living room) rapidly and the air flow is very high, even on low i can feel it from about 6 feet away, which is good b/c medium/low airflow can hardly be heard. Put some cold water in this thing and a couple packs of ice on top and ur off, the only reason it gets a 4/5 is b/c its supposed to cleaned once a week, dirty air filter and all. But cleaning is fairly simple. thanks again newegg for fast shipping, i needed this one badly lol.

Pros: Convieniant water/ice. filling location. Nice size. Good power. Cons: Not as cool as I had hoped. Need LOTS of ice, and will only cool slightly for about 2.5 hrs. Overall Review: Better then nothing, but not much.

Pros: it’s on wheels, it has swing feature to move the air vents,its smaller then i thought it would be. its not that heavy. has a remote control. not too loud ( i can sleep with it on – 2 feet away ). you can select either just the fan ( but still filter the air ) or the cool-air feature. Cons: well, i knew what i was buying. i havent found anything wrong with this, but if i had to say something bad… i would say the cord should be longer..? but i just use an extension cord. could be more vent choices – like a top vent? im just ranting here. filling it up with ice and water could become tiresome after a while? Overall Review: these types of coolers will not work in humid locations. I live in Southern California – mid day temps are VERY hot and dry. i live in a 2 bedroom apartment but only one room has A/C. i was going to buy a standalone a/c unit for about four hundred, but figrued i would try this first for way cheaper. It does what it says – cools the air. it also adds some moisture to the dry air out here. i turned the a/c unit on, then have this going also to circulate and put some moisture in then air and cool the air where the a/c cant reach – the overall temp in my apartment is way cooler now – enough that my roommate walked in about an hour after i turned it on and was shocked on how cool it was. I would reccommend this to someone who doesnt want or cant spend four hundred on a standalone a/c unit. Just dont expect freezing A/C air, this unit sends out cool air – with moisture. search it online if you need to read more about them. evaportive coolers, swamp coolers are the two names they go by.

Pros: You can use the unit in a room without bulky vent hose like an air conditioner would. No heat coming from back either. I like the portability on wheels. I can move from room to room as needed. This is the type of cooling system I’ve been looking for. Cons: I depend on my refrigerator to produce the ice for the unit, so once the ice is gone –it’s gone. Overall Review: I really like it and so does my family. We like the fact that we only need to keep one room cool rather than the whole house.

Pros: I live in seattle wa on the top floor in a apt building downtown.this sucker works fantastic cooled my apt down almost immediatly.my dogs love laying by it. Cons: wish i wouldve bought a 2nd 1 lol Overall Review: remote doesnt come with batteries.
