Pros: Straight-forward operation, user manual is comprehensible. Looks nice sitting in rack mounted cabinet with other black themed AV equipment. Affordable, quality merchandise. Cons: Remote Control is a bit on the small side, but it does contain good sized buttons and is well laid out for its size. Overall Review: Will be purchasing a few more of these for gifts.

Pros: some music sources, like Slacker, not on the Roku TV. The upscaling capability is nice of older DVD movies. Cons: no display; `needs the TV to discern what’s going on Overall Review: I guess I’d recommend it for the price due to its nice 4k upscaling capability

Pros: -Great apps, the netflix app works better than my TV one. Cons: -Does take a little while to load up when you first turn it on, but it’s not that long and isn’t a big deal -Wish it had more file types supported for using with my USB hard drive. Overall Review: I think I made the perfect choice.

Pros: Compact size Plays a wide range of disc formats WI/FI working perfectly in my installation-player firmware updated immediately, quickly and without error Has digital audio output from COAX. Numeous online services available (for a subscription price of course) Cons: Light weight construction means some vibration from the disc spin. This was audible until I placed a small weight on top of the player. Total silence now. Overall Review: Crucial benefits of this player to me and my system are the players ability to plug an HDMI into my old 1080i TV and a COAX into my old SONY DA3000ES AV receiver for surround sound. My old (but very good) home theater equipment can continue to provide long term value.

Pros: Nice Blu-ray playback Cons: Wi-Fi settings have to be set every time you start it and it constantly loses signal Slow start

Pros: Great as a blue-ray player, Ok as a streaming device if your provider is supported. Cons: The Hulu App is not available on many Sony devices. I am not sure what other providers Sony refuses to allow, but you should check before you buy Sony as your service may not be available on Sony devices. I wish I has seen Sony’s Aug 2019 press release on Hulu before I purchased. Overall Review: Technically a great device with a beautiful picture. Not supporting competitor streaming services is pathetic.
