Pros: I was looking for a high quality, most energy-efficient and SILENT power supply, and this is it. I originally considered a fanless version but this one turned out to be better because it has been operating without a fan running anyway in the hybrid mode and it will turn on the fan when needed (not likely for my workload). For the fanless one, I might have to worry about the buzzing noise others are reporting and the fact that it might overheat without a fan. Cons: I paid more money for…

Pros: Setting up the new build was a breeze knowing that the voltages coming out of this PSU almost didn’t budge and were right on target. Using an external DMM, I measured less than 10mV (0.01V) voltage variation on the 12V rail during power swings of approx 400W. The 5V and 3.3V rails were also very steady. My old power supply would vary by as much as 0.3V at times. It has a button for hybrid fan control mode on the back, which lets the fan turn off with low load. This is the quietest PSU…

Pros: Hybrid “passive” mode, doesn’t run fan unless under high load. Very low ripple on the rails, high efficiency, full modular… 12 year warranty. Cons: The recommend you mount it upside-down (to aid convection) for hybrid(fanless) mode, but it doesn’t have screw threads to mount it the other way… Seems like a dumb oversight, and would have been easy to add. All the cables are a little on the short side. I would rather pay more and have a set of longer cables included, or at least be…

Pros: Silent and low heat efficient and great for power saving long 12 years of warranty Cons: PCIE power cords for the gpu are little too short for the second one Power cables are not premium quality Overall Review: I got two version of this power supply one is rev. A1 with 2 big brown capacitors and other one just regular with no rev designated but has 2 big blue capacitors, I have been using both for few months but I recently found the one with blue capacitors, you are not able to turn…

Pros: If you want to have high stable overclock, you need clean stable power. This is one of the top power supplies made. I purchased this after seeing the review on HARDOCP where this was the best 1000w power supply they’ve ever tested to that point. I am currently able to run my 8700k at 5.2Ghz 1.34v. This thing is so power and heat efficient, the fan doesn’t even need to spin up in hybrid mode. Cons: none Overall Review: Highly recommended

Pros: Quiet Attractive design (for a power supply) Included cable management accessories (zip ties, Velcro ties, modular cable storage bags) Cons: Documentation was sparse on the hybrid fan control Overall Review: Really impressed with the overall build quality and design. Very quiet yet powerful. Included accessories were a nice touch.

Pros: 1: Seasonic has been cranking out great PSUs for decades. They were the OEM for some of the best PSUs released by other manufacturers, and are a fixture in the workstation space and for critical computing for a reason. They’ve never designed a bad PSU. Not once in their history. I know they don’t seem as romantic as an RGB “gaming” unit, but that’s not the point. This is a power supply. The cleaner and more efficient it is, and the more solid, the easier a time your motherboard has…

Pros: -No problem setting it up -Documentation was decent -A lot of cable choice,s -can easily power 8×8 CPU power -Can easily power two PCIe -5 total CPU/PCI-E ports! -4 total IDA/SATA/Molex ports -Beautiful quality, it’s a shame to hide it in a case -Sexy packaging, it was fun to debox Cons: -No cons that I can think of Overall Review: I just helped my son with his first build. It’s been a rough build. I’ve never had any problems with building computers prior to this. After a ton of…
