Pros: Why does this say it’s a 2.5″ drive? Cons: I think Newegg needs to fix their descriptions for this family of drives…

Pros: This is a 15k drive in a 2.5inch enterprise form factor. this is designed for use in enterprise grade systems where 2.5inch enterprise drives are used. Newegg is correct in their description. Cons: The other reviewer doesn’t have the knowledge of enterprise systems to post a review to this drives Overall Review: I have not used this specific drive, but the last generation of it is very fast and I have used it in a Poweredge 2900 with perc raid controller. These drives if like their…

Pros: Enterprise-class drive. Very fast RPM. Large companies depend on this drive to keep their information safe and quickly accessable. Cons: None yet. Overall Review: I am an Engineer on site of one of the largest IT hardware and software companies in the world. I can assure everyone that these drives are indeed high-end because I’m sitting here looking at one right now before it goes into a 5,000lb. Unix machine. The first reviewer doesn’t know what he’s talking about.

Pros: Enterprise-class drive. Very fast 15K RPM, Average Latency 2ms, small form factor 2.5. These drives have fast read /write speeds with sustained transfer rates at 200 MB/s. Even the failure rate on these drives is very low. I’m a systems engineer for IT dept. at a large health benefits company. We use these drives in alot of our servers and they are highly reliable and are very fast. If you are serious about needing high performance and reliable data storage, then these are the drives…

Pros: So far so good Cons: Can’t get rid of an impression that my old Fujitsu drives were faster in the same RAID0 configuration. May be it’s just me…

Pros: Able to replace Dell ST9146853SS in RAID array with no issues Cons: Dell PowerEdge R420 won’t recognize it as certified Overall Review: Our PowerEdge R420 started intermittently rebooting and determined a drive was failing. Ordered this one without looking in a rush and thankfully it worked to rebuild my RAID array replacing a Dell ST9146853SS. Still will have to order the Dell to make sure both drives are identical as the Dell Server Administrator is barking at me that the drive is…
