Pros: took 10 minutes to install in my ps3 and I was up and running… Cons: none Overall Review: …not a con of this drive in any way, but be sure to back up the PS3 update file on a thumb drive, otherwise you will get a formatting error. You have to save the file (2.xx) under the created folders PS3 -> UPDATE in all caps, and then the console will prompt you to format and install the update. Just an FYI, so you can save the extra 15-20 minutes of headaches.

Pros: I put this drive in a PS3, replacing the original 40GB drive and it works fine. Seems cool and quiet. Cons: None that I’ve seen.

Pros: Lots of space at a good price. Cons: DOA – Will RMA with Seagate. Overall Review: Did I leave the kitchen stove on?

Pros: Seagate is generally good. They produced a defective drive here. It sounds like a garbage disposal. Cons: They want all the original packaging back. This is just an OEM packaging. What a hassle.

Pros: Able to download more PS3 content now. I just backed up the data to an external through the console and swapped the HDD and restored. It has been working fine since June. On the PS3 side be careful of the screws they are small and can strip easily. Just make sure you have the appropriate bit. Cons: N/A Overall Review: If you have a 40GB version like me and are running out of space get this ASAP you will be very happy.

Pros: Works perfectly with my PS3! Cons: None Overall Review: I did have trouble on the PS3 operations software’s end though. The operating system is too large to download onto the hard drive because the PS3 has a 4 gig max, so you need an external hard drive to download the system information onto this hard drive AFTER you have installed this in your PS3.

Pros: Well i have had this drive in my laptop for well over 2 years now and its a good drive but it does have some issues from time to time Cons: This is not my first seagate drive. If it was, i would have been very upset. after 6ish months, it became very noisy and very slow… but i have found this to be a seagate issue. With seagate drives, you MUST keep on-top of defrags!!! If you dont, it will act like a dying drive, Clicky and extremely slow. As soon as you give it a good defrag, it…

Pros: Purchased this over 3 years ago and it’s still going strong. Got it as a replacement drive for an old laptop and have just recently repurposed it for a different old laptop and it’s still running strong. Couldn’t believe I had forgot to leave a review. Cons: None. Overall Review: None.
