Pros: This harddrive is just as quiet as the 60GB harddrive that came with my 13″ Macbook and I haven’t noticed any hit on my battery life either! Cons: None that I can think of. Overall Review: If you are looking for a hard drive upgrade for your Macbook, this is the one. I read that some other reviews stated this drive was thicker than the 60GB, but this was not the case.

Pros: Huge capacity, silent operation. Cons: None yet Overall Review: MacBook Installation: Label side goes *up* when mounting the drive in the little metal tray Label side goes **down** when sliding the drive and tray back into the computer (looking at the computer from the bottom). Don’t try to slide the drive into the computer label-side up – it will go in, but you risk bending the edges of the tray and ripping out the little rubber guides inside the drive slot.

Pros: Replaced the OEM Seagate 5400.2 with this one. Cloning was easy and the drive works perfect. Not any louder than the original. Battery life seemed unaffected. No heat issues. Massive Storage for a Macbook 🙂 Cons: NONE, Great OEM replacment Overall Review: Seems slightly faster than the OEM drive (same speed). I was really worried about that. People had said get the 7200rpm, however, after reading the Test reviews on tomshardware.com I realized the 7200rpm is not much, if any, faster…

Pros: Works great in PS3, Quiet, easy to install, quick load times… Cons: None to date Overall Review: Swapped out my 60 GB in my PS3 for this drive. It’s just as good, if not better than the original Seagate drive installed in the PS3. It was an easy install… So far I’m very pleased with this drive, and glad I decided to upgrade my PS3 now instead of later….

Pros: Perfect for my macbook! I honestly haven’t noticed any difference in noise or vibration since I added it , just a lot more space. Cons: Nothing at all. Overall Review: I had a hard time finding an enclosure for this drive on newegg that would go with this drive, I ended up going with the APRICORN EZ-UP-S 2.5″ USB 2.0 External Enclosure but it was horribly slow. Once I got the drive in the computer though it’s been nothing but perfect.
