Rosewill NEON K54 RGB Gaming Keyboard

Pros: 1. Its got some heft to it, not a lightweight, 2. The letters are backlit, not printed, so wont rub off, 3. The layout is exactly how i like it, e.g no tiny backspace key and no huge enter key, 4. feels rugged, reminds me of the old ibm keyboards, and 5. the backlight function is easy to use, Function key + number with options to change the colors, speed, and intensity of the effect. Cons: Easy to set up and configure, I accidentally keep turning the backlite off, but easy to turn back on. One problem for coders, the double quote doesn’t work; ages ago i had a similar problem with my Compaq, never could fix it; just found it so haven’t tried to fix it yet, but not a good problem to have. I didn’t think it saved the current state but after a few tries, that works. And then there’s my UPS delivery guy, he doesn’t put packages on my door step, he leaves it in front of the garage where anyone can see it and steal it, thanks brownie. LOL Overall Review: I coulda gone to another site and some no-name brand for a few bucks less, but I went with Newegg and Rosewill cause I like em and trust em.

Pros: The lighted keys are what I wanted mostly. I like the fact that a simple push of a button turns the lighted keys off, too. I always like the way the keys feel when I type. Cons: I don’t really like the fact that I need to push FN + 5 to return to the color I want the lights to be, every time I reboot my computer. But, it’s no big deal. Overall Review: I don’t care anything about the gaming aspects of this keyboard, since I don’t use it for gaming. However, it seems to be a good keyboard for everyday use. It’s especially helpful, if you use your computer in dimly lit or dark rooms, as I do. Only time will really tell if the letters disappear from this keyboard, as they have with other lighted keyboards.

Pros: – Keys are convexed, large and raised with good spacing. – The RGB effects shine through the lettering – Decent metal case with good weight – super smooth key press’s – With RGB, can use in the dark – RGB is not to bright but not dim either – keys and backplate are high off surface and with the back stands deployed it’s easier on wrist tension. Cons: – Shorter than average USB connection cable – makes almost no noise or physical response when pressing keys (more an option) – collects dust between keys easier. Which isn’t a con if you want a gaming keyboard with great spacing and smooth keys. Overall Review: – I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a decent gaming keyboard but doesn’t wanna spend to much. (Mine was on sale for half off) – I tend to keep my electrics in good shape so they often last a while. I replaced my 2014 keyboard with this one and if this one lasts even half as long, I would definitely repurchase this model or the newer version – Only thing I’d like to change is the USB cable. If the cable could at least be removed then I’d just use my longer cables. That or a longer cable but with a nylon cover

Pros: Does what is supposed to. Handsomely. RGB is great . Cons: Non so far. Overall Review: Yes.
