Pros: Its thin, user friendly, and yes it up-ress SD to an HD aspect ratio. It doesnt make it HD, as you can clearly see artifacts in the shadows of the picture, but if you have a high quality dvd like Criterion, it will make it look like HD quality. Cons: None really. Overall Review: For the price and power, I would strongly recommend buying it.
