Pros: Their quality is top notch. It does the job well. Cons: The craftsmanship and the quality of product of Noctua down to the packaging and instructions is world class. I just feel they rushed this product out because of the new platform. With 8 sticks of ram in my board, I have to move my ran up about 25 mil to clear the ram. I feel like they could do some more testing with boards and improve on this design a bit. Might as well build it out to a 165 or so. Have it sit above the ram and…

Pros: Easy to install. Keeps my Threadripper 1950X at 51C (Tdie) 78C (Tctl) while under 100% video encoding with Handbrake! Cons: None Overall Review: I RMA’d the Enermax Liqtech 360 twice after leaking fluid and high temperatures. The lowest temperature I achieved with the Enermax under full load was 62C and 37C idle which was 10 degrees warmer than the Noctua cooler. I installed a second fan on this cooler for a push/pull config, and used the IC Diamond thermal paste. I also applied the…

Pros: Just another beefy CPU cooling toy Cons: None Overall Review: Noctua makes the best air coolers out there. My Ryzen 1950x runs at 3.7GHz – 4.0GHz all day long at temps 50c to 80c. I run mine in an open air test bench case with dual push/pull fans and manual RPM controller. You folks with excessive heat issues ought to revisit your install and hold down tightening pattern. I run Noctua coolers on my sons i7 6950x and my 3rd Gen i7 5960x with the same/similar excellent results.

Pros: – Huge heatsink and fan to cool these huge thread ripper cpu’s – Ran some heavy editing and rendering and the heatsinks were super cool and CPU temps under load were VERY cool Cons: – May not fit all cases or MOBO’s. Make sure you know what you are getting into when purchasing this fan. Its only a CON if you didn’t do your research, but you must make sure its going to clear your ram, mobo, GPU, etc. Overall Review: I am running a Thermaltake P3 open case with an ASRock X399 Taichi…

Pros: – Idle and Load temps are insanely low. I’m doing rendering at 100% utilization and seeing max temps of 54°. – My favorite part: INSALEY QUIET. Seriously, anyone that has owned an Enermax cooler will absolutely adore how quiet this cooler is. – Comes with quality paste and additional fan brackets & more Cons: I had to move my GPU to slot 2. I knew I was going to have to do it so I dont have a problem with it. This may be a problem for someone else, do your research before. If anyone…

Pros: TR4 rectangle size/shape contact plate. No leak/clog risk besides dust. Maxing out at 66C on the Tdie. Cons: Swapped the brown fan for 2 NF-A15 chromax fans in push pull. Something causes the rear fan to whine. Neither fan whines in the front position. Either fan whines in the rear, with or without a front fan. Nothing is touching the blades. Tried with cable on top and tried with cable on bottom. Overall Review: I still recommend this cooler. But, push-pull has been a disappointment.

Pros: Runs very quiet, very cool. Typically excellent Noctua build quality. Ships with thermal paste. Cons: None so far. Overall Review: Have this mounted on a 180 watt sTR4 Threadripper processor, overclocked by about 200Mhz (and slightly over-volted but can’t remember by how much). The Noctua cooler has been working reliably since day 1. This is a workstation build and sometimes runs at 100% CPU utilization for days on-end (when rendering 3D images, for example). The Noctua has reliably…

Pros: Using one for a personal workstation build and another for a client’s sever. These things are amazing! Coming from someone who has been using liquid cooling for about a decade, there is no comparison for the amount of reliability that comes with air cooling. Under 100% utilization the temp did hit 75ish Celsius. Considering its a 24 core 48 thread CPU is definitely with in reason. (Prime 95, Cinebench, etc) idles at low 30’s. Cons: IF YOU DO NOT SPEC out your build completely there…
