Pros: 24 ports at 190w(183w) total. Good configuration in the management. Mountable. Cons: A little bit on the noisy side (What switch with mini fans isn’t?) Overall Review: It was hard to find a PoE+ Switch for the amount of security cameras for my property that didn’t cost a bit more than I wanted to spend but this definitely meets the requirements and more. I’ve always had great success with Netgear and this unit doesn’t fail to carry on that success so far. So if you’re looking for a good PoE+ managed switch option, this is it. It is very easy to get going even without customizing the configuration (Be sure to update the password to the management side of the unit).

Pros: Option for web/mobile management. Full suite of options that rivals the much more expensive switches. Cons: Make sure you perform firmware updates first. My switch was way out of date and it took almost am hour since it was a stepped update as well. Overall Review: I would consider this overkill for simple home networking. Unless you have a need for more than one feature, there are plenty of other switches more suitable. I recall the mobile app for switch configuration may require a fee. But didn’t look into it. This may be a con for some… An account is required to register the switch.
