Pros: Looks, packaging, bios, ddr4 Cons: A bit costly but I wanted rgb Overall Review: Can’t find DDR5 anywhere, had to resort to using DDR4 for my 12900k. While, Asus ddr4 board options were kind of trash, and Gigabyte had too many memory issues. Decided to try MSI for the first time. And it’s very good, the bios is easy to use, OC is easy, the vrms kept cool, and the memory OC worked.

Pros: intel Lan Good Realtek audio Pretty Nice RGB if that is your thing. Lots of I/O Solid VRM that runs pretty cool, keeps up with the best competition. BIOS flash button Cons: CMOS clear jumper instead of a button and no built-in power switch. I am not a fan of the artificial product segmentation. leaving features like this off of a $300 board just to make the flagship DDR5 boards look better is dumb. Everybody seems to be doing this though. Overall Review: If you are looking for a z690…

Pros: Nice quality,u disk for driver software.rich I/O,RGB Overall Review: MSI has made great progress in recent years. The software is very easy to use. It is also equipped with a nice quality metal USB drive for driver software. It is very considerate of customers and all kinds of accessories are in place.

Pros: – Incredibly powerful – Lots of connectivity Cons: – No TB ports of any kind Overall Review: Upgrading from an i7-6700k to an i7-12700k makes for a wonderful jump in performance (in many areas). It is much easier to edit in 4K now, multi-tasking feels a lot smoother (I do a LOT of multi-tasking across three monitors), video playback is smoother, and so is gaming. This board helps to accomplish all of this and more with its vast amount of features and connectivity. Everything came…

Pros: Pretty good board for what is available, not covered in RGB glory! I have 1 Samung pro 1tb and 2 x 2TB Samung 970 evo plus m.2’s installed and have not had any issues been about a week ( 12700k cpu) M.2 temps stay around 37 – 45. For those who still want to use ther ddr4 ram great motherboard Cons: Mystic light likes to control some of my Corsair stuff keyboard k100, my corsair headphone stand etc, so can’t really use it! I know A motherboard with horrible rgb software…no way! lol…

Pros: We’ve used MSI boards for our last several builds and they’ve been solid. This one is no exception. Edge has a good feature set for single video card users. DDR4 provides a better value than current DDR5 as the 2x premium on DDR5 doesn’t offer anywhere near 2x performance. (Plus you can actually find DDR4 memory in stock.) It’s also quite a bit less expensive than the next step up, Carbon/Force, so it’s a good value. The four (!) M.2 slots have hefty heat sinks with thermal pads. And…

Pros: – Top VRMs that run pretty cool compared to other boards – Plenty of USB (3.2, 2.0) slots – Intel LAN Chipset – 4x PCIe 4.0 M.2 Slots with each having their own heatsink. – Able to enable the AVX-512 instruction set by disabling the E-Cores (using 7D31v11 BIOS version) – Able to enable Gear 1 and Command Rate 1T for 32GB G.Skill 3600Mhz supported RAM sticks. Could probably push it more if I took the time to overclock it or had better sticks (Samsung B-Dies) – BIOS is well organized and…

Pros: -Excellent DDR4 support. -The BIOS interface is really nice. -The overall aesthetic of the board is sharp. -Excellent Fan controller. -Built in IO shield (no more sliced fingeys) -built in Wifi and bluetooth is cool -VRMs run very cool. Good heatsinks. Cons: -Network card did not work automatically during windows 10 install. Had to install manually. -Odd display issues with GPU. Not a huge deal, more detail below. Overall Review: It was really important to me that I could reuse my DDR4…
