Pros: I like that it was ready to pair with my ryzen 3600 right out the box. Has enough USB port for my liking, lots of rgb headers. The asthetics of the motherboard is amazing. I couldn’t be happier. Cons: Once motherboard was installed and set up, everything was running like hell. It caused me a few days of frustration upon booting up Windows 10 and it not working properly only to realize later that I needed to run the latest version of Windows 10. Was a simple fix, all it took was to…

Pros: Good quality. Easy to build on. Front USB-C header perfect for using in cases with front port. Everything works perfectly!! Cons: Heat sinks on VRMs and IO area are so tall that the build gets a little tricky when trying to plug in CPU power. On MoBo RGB Lighting on this is a little more dim compared to the Tomahawk line. No other issues. Overall Review: Works great. Paired this with a Ryzen 7 3700X, 32 GB G.Skill RGB Trident NEO RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO m.2 SSD, and an MSI RTX 2070, all…

Pros: -Terrific all-rounder of a motherboard. -Great value for the features you get and the relatively low cost compared to other high-end B550 boards. -Outstanding power delivery compared to previous B450 models. -Onboard WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5- it doesn’t get any more convenient! -Major benefit for my needs- Front Panel USB 3.2 gen 2, type-c header. -For those who use it, this motherboard has 2 main lighting zones, on the IO cover and chipset heatsink, and both are very vibrant. -2…

Pros: -Good board Lighting, -Board is designed with Corsair builds in mind and has amazing functionality with Commander Pro – SB Temps are great! – Memory OC is superbly stable at 3600MHz – Bios Cons: -South Bridge could still be slightly better located but would change too much other functionality of board. Temps are still VERY manageable (50C-76C under load) -Currently a bug with Corsair Vengeance Pro and ICUE that makes onboard memory profiles difficult to align with proper slotting (i.e….

Pros: 1. Everything is a pro. and I mean everything. Gotta start with the most important, the power delivery system, it is unrivaled can easily power a Ryzen 9 5900x, with solid blocks of finned aluminum heat sinks. They run a frosty 27c on division 2, or Doom Eternal. This is hours of play and max temp on the VRM’s is 27c with ambient temp of 24.5c (that’s 2.5c above room temps) and i’m running a Ryzen 7 5800x so this board has lots of headroom for upgrading. 2. PCIe 4.0×16 let’s my XFX5700…

Pros: -Comes with a front USB type-C port for my case -When I overclocked my RAM too hard, and the PC would not boot, instead of having to remove a battery or do any technical work all I had to do was hold down a reset CMOS button for several seconds! -easy Bios Flash for my new Ryzen 9 5900X (Overclocked to 4.5Ghz) , no hassle whatso-ever. literally just watched a video from a B450 tomahawk and did the exact same thing! -Has two RGB zones -Included Three year warranty -Comes from a good…

Pros: Functionality wise, fantastic board. B550 + USB-C is rare. RGB is present without being in your face. 2 NVMe slots, WiFi 6 etc. pretty much keeps you with the latest and greatest tech as of beginning 2020 Cons: 1. BIOs UI needs a rework. You have to really trial/error to navigate. 2. My first product was Dead on Arrival. It was the infamous CPU Fail LED and could not get a graphic. So after readjusting everything, ensuring proper seating, proper cables were secure, trying to flash BIOS…

Pros: I’ve had good luck with MSI in the past. The features of the board looked good. I liked how it looked and felt. Cons: Board was DOA. Would not post, it would flash the bad CPU LED warning and then shut down. Flash the BIOS still same problem. Took it to a local repair shop they tested it with my 2 cpu’s, Ryzen 3100 and Ryzen 5600X, as well as their own, same issue. It was odd that I had 2 boards have the same issue Overall Review: This was the second MSI B550 that had the same problem,…
