Pros: -Easy debugging LED lights for troubleshooting POST failures -Very sleek but not to flashy design -Worked with my 3rd gen AMD Ryzen processor without the need for a BIOS update Cons: -The only real quirk I have noticed is occasionally the debug LEDs can get stuck in the lit up state even after a successful POST and boot into windows. I dont know what causes this to happen but 99% of the time they work as intended. Overall Review: MSI has never failed to deliver a quality product in my…

Pros: VRM’s are better than b350 Tomahawk. Board looks way better than pics . heat sinks are massive. Fan headers all all over this board. plus RGB headers. 2 3 pin RGB and 1 5 pin RBG header. M.2 slot comes with a heat sink saves $ there. Cons: Manual in the box would have saved time. glad is not only pc in the house. I get most people look things up online and down load what you need. but no manual and yet a driver CD Rom. go figure. Overall Review: I got this board when it first came out…

Pros: -PCIE express 4.0 -simple bios -6 sata ports -6 fan headers (one is in center of motherboard so hard to route cable) -rgb pins – good temps – easy install and looks great Cons: -clearance is tight with top case fans -thats it like it works good Overall Review: mid-range to high-end parts. Everything you need on a motherboard without rgb on it. Looks better than you think.

Pros: -Looks great. Black, no LOOK AT ME features -Supported my Ryzen 3600 with B550 right out of the box. Even if it didn’t, it has the ability to flash BIOS without a CPU -Can accept a lot of RAM speeds. Was able to re-use my old 2400Mhz RAM until I buy newer. -Supports ECC RAM in non-ECC mode. That’s crazy. Never heard of that before. ECC RAM can be super cheap on second-hand auction sites -Lots of fan headers. More than I need -M.2 screws DID work for me. -Saved $$$ not getting…

Pros: Well it was able to handle all my components like I planned so that went well. Cons: The heat sync for the VRAM was broken off. The plastic literally snapped, some spring was nowhere to be found and the other was there but still detached. Overall Review: Truthfully the only reason that I didn’t send it back immediately is because I was lowkey impatient after all the time, so I was luckily able to get plastic spacers and springs of my own from a hardware store and it works so there’s that.

Overall Review: The first board I got was dead on arrival. The return process was not a problem itself but it delayed my build for a few days, which was frustrating. No problems with the board itself once I got a working one.

  8. Ryan E.

Pros: – Very Fair price for functionality/OC support – M2 heat sink – non flashy RGB – so many DRM capable fan headers – VRM temps nice and cool under load – This board came with a stand off warning paper, as to not short/damage the board (needs only 9 standoffs, instead of all for ATX form factor) -EUFI hardware monitored is extremely detailed Cons: Not all of these are CONS, but rather room for improvement in my opinion: – During the bios update process, found some incompatibility with USB…
