Pros: I love these speakers, they sound amazing. Sure they’re not a high dollar set of speakers but they sound like they should be. The speakers are truly amazing and beautiful looking. There is some bass but not room shaking ( I didn’t buy them for that ) I bought them to have a great sounding set of speakers, and that’s what they are. Cons: none

Pros: 1. These speakers sound really good. Better than they should at this price range. 2. They look nice. Big and imposing. They frame a monitor quite nicely. 3. The power cable, headphone jack, and cable between the two satellites are more than long enough for a dual monitor set up (a 24″ and a 17″) 4. They’re relatively inexpensive. 5. After about 3 months of use, there is no signs of cackling, popping, or fuzzy noises. 6. The build quality on these things are pretty good. Yes they are plastic but the speakers are heavy and thick. I feel like these could take a pretty substantial fall and still work (although I do not plan on allowing that to happen). Cons: 1. Took me about an hour to adjust my computer’s EQ to hit the sweet spot with these things. Overall Review: So when I first plugged these in, the highs and bass were really weak and that was disappointing. However (at least in Windows) you can adjust the EQ in the Sound section in the Control Panel. It takes a bit of adjusting (personal tastes differ of course) but after I toned the mids down a little bit, boosted the bass and highs a bit (and I mean just a tad, nothing monumental), and gave these about a day to “burn in”, everything sounded phenomenal. Overall, I’d recommend these speakers. For $35 I don’t think you can do much better than these. I haven’t tested all of them so I can’t say so definitively, but after the tweaking I couldn’t be happier with how these sound. The only question is how long they last but after 3 months they don’t exhibit the kind of cackling and popping noises you get with bad speakers, so I’m hopeful. Would recommend and purchase again.

Pros: Good sound for the average user. Cons: Being a fairly inexpensive set I wasn’t expecting a whole lot. These speakers should have more bass for the price, anything over 5/8 volume is undoable even playing with EQ settings. Overall Review: They took three or four hours of burnin time to reach a decent sound. I really had to play with EQ settings and save a custom preset to get these speakers to sound “real” and have decent tone. No pushing bass at ALL with these or they start sounding awful. Not really a big deal, they were a gift for a friend’s daughter, they live in an apartment and she will never turn them up over half. So good enough for what they are. They are DEFINITELY NOT worth the regular price, they were only worth the thirty I paid for them.

Pros: I was looking for a replacement of the Dell Harman Kardon desktop speakers which were damaged during a move. My selection criteria were : 1) Neutral sounding 2) No distortion at full volume and maximum input 3) Compact 4)Cheap 5) Low power consumption Logitech has made a hit with this one. As you can see, I had a very strict list of requirements to replace my excellent Harman Kardons. These speakers have a very balanced tonal quality. Lows, mids and highs are equally well reproduced. No audible distortion at full volume and maximum input levels. They are compact enough to easily fit beside my work monitors. Easily fills my 30×30 ft workspace with good quality sound. They were below 25 USD. Consumes about 5-10W (full vol.). The four drivers used are of excellent quality. There is enough wire length between the left and right speakers. Cons: The tone control knob on the side is a gimmick. There is no use for that. Overall Review: Since most vendors have shifted to the 2.1 form factor these days, it is very difficult to find good sounding stereo speakers. The 2.1s are usually bass heavy with brighter high resulting in a ghoulish sound. If you like neutral sounding PC speakers like me, go get these. You won’t be disappointed. No other speakers in this price range sound this good.

Pros: These speakers sound fantastic & actually have more bass then most cheap 2.1 systems I’ve used. They’re a bit expensive for not having a subwoofer attached but they make up for it in quality. When turned up are much louder then needed in a bedroom / office environment. Would recommend. Cons: The 3.5mm input cable is only three feet long which wasn’t long enough for my setup. It’s wired into the setup so using another one I had laying around wasn’t an option. Had to buy an extension. Also the “tone” wheel on the side of the speaker doesn’t do anything. Overall Review: Overall a good set of speakers, quality of the sound more then makes up for the price.

Pros: Crisp highs and mids, room filling sound at low to medium volume. Sturdy construction, durable materials, aesthetically pleasing. Easy to set up and operate in conjunction with other sound systems. Cons: Distortion occurs at high volumes, they like to move around on the desk or table if what you’re listening to has a lot of low end. If you’re using a sound card like the creative sound blaster it isn’t recommended that you turn it up all the way at all, but if you’re using a sound card you’d be better off investing in a set of speakers that can handle the output. Overall Review: If you’re looking for an inexpensive audio solution, this is a great set. For around $40 U.S. they do what is advertised.

Pros: – Loud and clear sound, it doesn’t sound like my music is coming out of a rotary phone anymore – Cheap but not cheaply made – You can adjust the bass with a dial on the side Cons: – So far I can’t find any cons Overall Review: It’s just great for the price, it does what it says on the box, basically it’s exactly what I needed. Two thumbs up!
