Logitech K310 920-004033 Wired Washable Keyboard Black/White

Pros: It’s a really comfortable keyboard, the keys are easy but not too hard to press. It looks good and as I’m typing this I’m just basically fingering this keyboard. My typing speed also increased. It loves water and it comes with a little brush for cleaning between the keys. As for gaming, I haven’t tried mechanical keyboards, but I felt a difference over conventional keyboards, which is a good thing because keys are easy to reach and find. Cons: None so far Overall Review: I payed for what I got, it’s waterproof, tough, good looking, and very comfortable.

Pros: You can clean this thing with your sink. If you’ve ever bothered to notice what builds up in your keyboard… Well, let’s just say it’s amazing a product like this didn’t come along sooner. The aesthetic is pretty nice and my typing experience is comfortable. The visable surfaces are matte white and what I’d describe as a matte charcoal black/very dark gray. The keys are clickier than I expected. Though I doubt hardcore mechanical switch enthusiasts would approve of it, it’s still far clickier than a regular laptop keyboard. The keys are all slightly concave except for the bottom and top row which are slightly convex. I’m pretty happy about this, as I’ve never liked the completely flat style chiclet keys found on a lot of newer laptops and such – I like having at least a little bit of concavity. In any case my last keyboard was building up grime in places that were impossible to clean, so I’m pretty happy with this so far. Cons: The included cleaning brush slides a bit too freely when snapped into its holder. I think making the bottom a bright blue is kind of questionable, but fortunately you can’t really see that part of the keyboard. Overall Review: The bottom right of the last row to the right of the space bar has a second alt, an fn key that overloads your f-keys for volume controls and such like a laptop, and a control key. There is no menu key. So if that matters (it possibly does on Windows 8, and it can improve keyboard control of GUIs in some Linux DEs), you’ll probably have to figure out a way of rebinding right-alt to menu or something.

Pros: Good looking, Able to clean in the sink as long as you don’t submerge the usb connector end of the cable, Only needs soft key presses to type, quiet operation. I can actually type faster on this keyboard vs. my previous Dell QuietKey keyboard (also rubber dome). The included cleaning brush is handy for keeping it dust free. Cons: The blue bottom is a little tacky but it’s not visible when in use so no biggie. Rubberdome, but better than the average one. The keyboard weighs next to nothing which might make it feel ‘cheap’ to some especially if you’re used to a heavy mechanical keyboard. Rest assured it feels durable when typing and doesn’t ever feel like its going to ‘bend’ or anything like that. The keys being spaced apart felt a little weird at first but I got used to it within a day and actually prefer it now. Overall Review: I bought this on impulse at Best Buy without doing any research and honestly It’s the best keyboard Ive owned, I just like the way it feels when typing and Ive had no problems using it with gaming.

Pros: I’ve never been particular about keyboards, but when my Wife and I saw this at Office Depot we fell in love with it. We passed on it but purchased it at Best Buy and we both love it. You very softly tap the keys and the spacing is perfect. not noticeable to me, but it feels more natural than tightly cramped keys. also agree with those saying their typing speed has improved because this Keyboard is so great. The biggest selling point for us was the fact that it won’t get caked up with grime and everything else that comes along with the territory. Washable but since it’s new i only need to use my spray and a good shake. Cons: none. Overall Review: plug and play. this is a usb keyboard.

Pros: -Smooth key action -Nice simple design -Washable (Obviously) Cons: None Overall Review: All the other reviewers are right. This keyboard is absolutely top notch. Like so many others I bought this simply for the aesthetic and price, only to find out it’s the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. My only concern is how long the smooth key action will last, but I’ve always had faith in Logitech products.

Pros: – Plug-n-Play with no junk software required. – Standard keyboard layout, with bonus media keys (via an FN modifier key similar to most notebooks). – Very compact in size (and thin), at the same time the keys have extra spacing (may or may not be preferable to some folks, but I’m liking it after getting used to it a bit). – Very visible print on white keys, even under a bright lcd monitor in low room light (my eyes don’t have to adjust when look down to quickly press the right key in a game, for example). It’s like a cross between backlighting and a “Keys-U-See” keyboard. – The keys actually have a great feel to them. I find typing on this keyboard to be better than on my previous old Logitech G15. Cons: – The keyboard cord is white, I guess to match the look of the keys, but I think it should have been black to be less noticeable. – The cord is average length. – The extra key spacing takes just a little bit getting used to (but it’s worth it). Overall Review: I had a very hard time settling on a new keyboard. For the somewhat decent price, this Logitech had everything I was looking for (see Pros section). If you’re looking for a very decent keyboard — “washable” or not — this is a *great* choice for the money!

Pros: + Product is easily washable, and very durable Cons: – Gel-type keys are not very responsive – Spacebar only works if depressed directly on the center Overall Review: I owned one of these keyboards before and was trying to get another, but in the ~1 year between my first purchase and now the manufacturer has switched the style of key from a more mechanical-type to a gel-type key. Because of this choice the spacebar, which only has 1 key under it, will only work when pressed dead-on. Essentially, your spacebar has a functional size of a letter key. If you can find one of the older model, with the mechanical-type keys, this is easily the best keyboard I’ve ever owned. But these gel-type keys are not only inferior, but make the spacebar not function as intended. Do not buy this product.
