Justin T. –
Pros: I am a person that enjoys high-quality pictures. I only bought the 48-inch because I do not care how big the TV is if the picture is bad. However, for this TV it fits perfectly in my room. I am about 6 feet from the TV during viewing and have had no issues. 1. True black is outstanding for color quality. 2. PS5 hooked up allows HDR to auto turn on during the load screen. Love the quality of the games. You will see the difference compared to standard HD. 3. 4K is great – Keep in mind not everything is in 4K so don’t blame your TV. I watch an old show and yes it is still grainy, but hey it is an old show. 4. The quality of the stands is very nice. I am not able to hang it on the way yet but to be honest, not sure it would work well in this room anyway so more than likely it is staying on the stands. Cons: 1. No clue why the back is two different sizes in thickness. To me, that is just weird. The top of the tv is paper-thin, then you get halfway down and it jumps out about an inch for all the electronics needed… Why not just do the full TV as an inch and half thick and be done with it. 2. Smart TVs are fine, but I seem to have random issues with LG. Sign in with your account (need an LG account) then great… for some reason 3 to 5 days later, I need to sign in again. Has happened twice, and once again this is just weird. 3. I really think all the “Smart” options are overkill. I personally don’t need them, if you use Fire Sticks, Roku, or any game system, then you won’t either. However, I guess for a very small few they are nice. Overall Review: 1. I have had it for about a month and so far it is a great TV. Not too big, not too small and the picture quality in 4k is outstanding. I bought a 4k blue player and my first 4K HDR movie and to be honest I was blown away by the difference. 2. I am not a big gamer, however, I do love the PS5 full 4k HDR effect on this TV. My games are crisp and clean with great color. I was worried about stuttering as some have stated. But this has not happened one time so I am not sure what they are talking about. FF7 remake & Genshin Impact looks great, plays well, and does not have any stutters. 3. While I am not a fan of extended warranties, after seeing how thin this TV is I went ahead a bought the 3-year plan sold here on Newegg just to be safe. 4. True black really is a thing, and to be honest, it is worth it. The clarity is outstanding. As of today, I am pretty happy with this buy, and yes I would recommend this to anyone looking for a new TV.
