Pros: – The IPS panel is bright and colorful. – The ultra wide display is great for productivity. – It is easily adjustable at a touch. – Quite elegant looking on the desk. – What you would expect for input (HDMI) – There’s a headphone jack (no speakers) Cons: – I purchased over alternatives because this was claimed to be FreeSync, but after updating my drivers, Radeon Software still reports that it is not supported. In hindsight the FreeSync feature on a 60hz IPS display was unlikely to be true — I’ve never seen this before. – Also, I’m seeing some flickering after only a week of use. It seems to happen a lot suddenly then disappear. Perhaps this is my RX570 struggling to support the resolution. It may also be other Radeon settings contributing to the fault. I’ll be tweaking it. But if this continues then I’ll be sending this monitor back and I’d be unlikely to purchase an LG monitor again. Overall Review: – It does not support FreeSync – Great for productivity and video streaming. – Okay for gaming, if you prefer color fidelity over frame rates. – Intermittent screen flicker, possible defect. So read your warranty keep the shipping box around.
