Overall Review: Wow. Read reviews that raved about them and the Altec Lansing’s MX5021s. Couldn’t decide which was best from the reviews so I bought both. After playing them side by side, Klipsch gets the nod. The Klipch’s clarity and fullness at low volumes was excellent. But, what really sold me was the quality of the bass at low volumes. The Altec’s were slightly better at movies, but the Klipsch’s were better at gaming and music. What I didn’t expect from both was the quality of sound. Both units were every bit as good as a 5.1 system and there are a lot less wires. If you are a student that wants great sound for music and gaming, Klipsch Promedia 2.1 is a best buy. If you are a movie lover, Altec’s MX5021 is the answer.

Pros: Has a very balanced sound The highs arent overbearing and the mid bass adds to the depth of the sound. Wether for dvd viewing, gaming, or music these things rock. Just ditched a pair of muddy sounding ACUSTIC AUTHORITY speakers for these. Cons: Speaker wire is a little on the cheesey side, will make my own wire. Overall Review: The guy below me must have gotten a bad set. These things sound AWSOME when run flat(no eq). Rap, rock, games, everything sounds so much clearer and crisper. The bass sounds natural instead of artificial like most sets. Highly reccomended. True Audiophiles will understand what I mean by the quality of this unit. The price of this is well worth it for what you get.

Pros: Clean Clear Loads of power! Just ask my wife, if she hasn’t told me to turn it down once an hour she must be out of town. These things live up to the quality the name implies the best sounding speakers I’ve ever had on a computer system, worth every penny. Cons: They sound great when your at the computer but as far as filling the room with sound there just a little muddy, even with the sub turned way down. Overall Review: They look as good as they sound, if your a gamer or an audiophile you can’t go wrong with this setup.

Pros: When my neighbors dog would not stop barking for weeks on end, I ordered these speakers and downloaded some sound clips of dogs barking. I collaged them, set it on repeat, and pointed my new speakers out of my window and turned it up pretty loud. After two hours of that, they finally got the hint. I haven’t heard the dogs bark since. Cons: They aren’t wireless satellites so I couldn’t park them on the neighbors lawn. Overall Review: Solid speakers, worth the money.

Pros: these speakers are out of sight. loud as heck, no distortion. subwoofer rattles the fillings in your teeth. definitely worth the money, klipsch does not mess around. live in a dorm, gotten in trouble 4 times already for this system. i love it Cons: power button on back of subwoofer is a pain

Pros: Looks good and sub box seems well built. Easy connections for satellite speakers. Cons: DOA. Wish it had treble control. Power switch behind sub box. Overall Review: Received 2 days after order. Newegg’s delivery is excellent.
