Pros: Have 7 or so previously installed and this was very good price for item that has been useful to run items on schedule – IE when solar producing more. Xmas lights, heating blanket at night, ventilation fans, office lights, etc Cons: Kasa Software only runs on android, can’t run on PC without extra virtual machine. Software handles basic tasks but has limitations for more sophisticated processes. Overall Review: I am starting to experiment with home automation and don’t want to use Google or Alexa. These have the option to work well and hopefully my options will expand with a better computer control. These seem to work well with Openhab(yes) and HomeAssistant(not tested?) Much cheaper than rewiring outlets or switches. and can be moved easily.
