iRobot i755020 Roomba i7 plus

Pros: App Setup is very easy, it’s all done through the Roomba mobile app for Android/iOS. App setup took about 5 minutes. The Roomba device will need to connect to the Wi-Fi, so make sure your router has both 2.4ghz & 5ghz networks active, this is pretty standard for smart devices. The device will need to perform an update before setup is complete, which takes around 9 minutes. Battery & Charging. While the device is updating, I recommend letting it charge at the base charging station. Note that the Roomba will be unable to start cleaning if the battery is too low. I let it charge for an hour before starting any cleaning jobs through the app. Didn’t notice any battery issues, such as quick drain or anything. The device has a built-in feature that allows it to go to the charging station when low on battery. The device has a great room mapping process. It cleaned a little bit around the house to understand where things are and form a route. Cons: The loud noise it makes when emptying the trash was unexpected. I will say don’t keep any wires on the floor, as it did roll over my laptop charger, no damage happened, but still scary. I will also point out that the cleaning brush seems to have bent slightly. I wasn’t sure if it was like that already or happened after the initial cleaning route. Just researched replacement brushes, seems pretty easy to replace. The device is also a magnet for hair, it will easily spin up hair in the brush, you’ll need to be sure to clean it regularly. Overall Review: Got the Roomba to see how well it can clean my apartment. Cleaning overall, The Roomba i7’s cleaning ability is actually pretty good. It does what it’s supposed to do without you telling it anything. It’s great for picking up small crumbs on the floor and not running into walls. Overall 4/5. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a self-automated floor cleaning solution.
