Pros: Much better small block read & write performance that the consumer model SSD’s and the price difference between it and the consumer SSD (Intel 520) is not that great. Cons: None Overall Review: I plan on purchasing more of these drives in the future to set up a RAID 5 array for frequently accessed data

Pros: Power loss data protection, 256 bit AES encryption, 5 year warranty, and performance consistency. Cons: None so far. Overall Review: I picked up 2 of these drives to test tiered storage in Server2012 r2. I had 8 WD RE4 1TB drives averaging 600 IOPS and after adding these and implementing tiered storage I average 26000 IOPS. The setup seems to handle all the VM workloads without slowing down and I’ll probably implement a similar setup in my production environment when 2012r2 is released.

Pros: Works excellent for server loads. Currently running ESXi on two of these in a RAID I configuration with datastores on separate drives. Works flawlessly. I ALWAYS purchase Intel NICs and this purchase has commited me to their SSDs for future server based projects. Cons: None.

Pros: Very fast reads. Boots incredibly fast. Cons: Haven’t found one yet. Overall Review: The price isn’t horribly high, and for building a PC for a normal user, this is a great choice.

After a week of using my pc for gaming, school work, etc, I get an error message that a required device is not connected to my pc. Turns out, this drive had so many bad sectors that…
