Pros: First off, I’m upgrading from a I7-4790K (4.7GHz OCed). The 4790K I have is 5 years old. That CPU is a true beast, but I felt like it was time to get a new MB/CPU/RAM due to age. So, that said, I see a huge difference in desktop work and games. I mainly game. I don’t understand why everyone says these CPU’s run hot. I’m running stable at 5.2 on an AIO and this CPU doesn’t even break 40c-70c in some benchmarks or games. It runs way cooler than my 88w 4790K. I am using an Aorus Ultra MB….

Pros: -Straight out of box speed is fast Cons: -Cost/Availability Overall Review: I have been running this CPU for about a month now with no issues at all. It is running stock @ 4.7-4.9 and boost up to 5.3 this is also with my ASUS board using standard Intel power limits. I use a Noctua NH-U12A for air cooling and under stress it doesn’t go above 74C using HWiNFO64 to monitor each core.

Pros: – Great performance – Readily available – 5 GHz all cores is attainable without pushing voltage/temps too hard Cons: – No PCIe 4.0 support, though that only matters for I/O intensive storage workloads Overall Review: As others have said, this is a cheaper and more readily available alternative to the i9-10900K. Performance gains that the 10900K might have are likely to be imperceptible in the real world. Benchmarks show that this CPU can even outperform the 10900K due to how…

Pros: -Just a small bump in the BIOS and its essentially the same as the 10900k, but for slightly less in cost -Been really great for gaming and broadcasting Cons: -None Overall Review: Would definitely recommend to others, especially if these go down in price when newer Intel and AMD cpus start hitting the market

Pros: – Temps under 63C under load w/ 240mm AIO, med pump speed, stock clocks – fully unlocked my 3080, frames considerably higher coming from an OC’d 7700k. ex: FC5 I’d get 120fps on low settings @ 3440×1440, now I’m chilling at 130-144FPS on Ultra Settings. Ex2: CP2077 ran at 60FPS Ultra w/ 7700k, now sitting around 85fps. (QUALITY dlss, RT off) -No OCs and also have not touched the 420W firmware update for my card. Likely more performance to be had. Cons: -Expensive (honestly if you’re…

Pros: Hot diggity dog, this is fast. Note: in case it isn’t obvious, this cpu doesn’t ship with a cooler. You’ll have to provide your own, as well as your own thermal paste. Just something to be aware of. I didn’t deduct any stars due to this. Cons: None. Overall Review: I would recommend!

Pros: I never seen anything this fast! I am addicted to building these now. I was a certfied Master Tech I could fix anything on a car or pick-up truck. But my specialty was electronic controls for cars and trucks. So I am 70yrs. old and I still have s passion for this stuff. I built my frist computer in 2004 it is a lot simpler now than then. But this stuff has gotten so fast it is crazy. THAT is it. It is a hobby to me now and enjoy this stuff good luck all!! Cons: None Overall Review: I…
