Pros: Decent price, especially for a Skylake CPU. Don’t think the performance difference is worth the 90 dollar price difference with the 6600k if you are gaming. Very power efficient and cool, too. Cons: Non-overclockable, but I knew that when I bought it so there’s no reason to deduct an egg. Overall Review: It’s not as powerful as I originally thought, but it does great. Had to turn down extended distance scaling in GTA 5 to stop framerate fluctuations with my R9 390, but now I get a…

Pros: Combined this processor with an ASRock H170M-ITX DL motherboard, 8 gigs of GSkill DDR4 2133 memory and an 850 EVO SSD. The combination provides very snappy performance that will meet the business or personal computing needs of the vast majority of computer users. I don’t game so I can’t comment on that aspect of the processor’s performance. Costs a little more than an I3 Haswell or the soon to come Skylake I3’s, but what the heck you only live once. Cons: None Overall Review: This…

Pros: This is a good processor and at a decent price. I put this on the Asus Z170-PRO board and it a fast CPU with low power consumption and stays cool at 25c. Cons: No Cons

Pros: Works flawlessly and overclocks to 3.2 with stock fan and MSI Gaming 3 software. Cons: None so far. Overall Review: I’ve paired with Ripjaws 8gb ram and MSI Gaming 3 motherboard and it blows the doors off my old Q6600 rig in terms of frame rates when playing games and with video compression and editing.

Pros: Works great for my needs, using it with racing sim games. Very big jump in frame rate from old AMD PCU… Cons: None

Pros: I’ve literally never had an Intel CPU fail on me in the 25 years I’ve been building custom systems. I purchased two of these, mounted them on ASUS motherboards and they work as advertised. What more can be said? Cons: None at all. Overall Review: I always pay the extra money for an Intel CPU. Rock solid.

Pros: Works awesome with my 7770, haven’t plugged in my rx 480 yet though Good bang for the buck, long as you don’t want 4k gaming or a gtx 1080 you’ll be fine Cons: Could do with a little more price difference between 6500 and 6400. if i were to do it all again i would probably buy the 6500 for peace of mind All intel chips could really use a bit more realistic pricing

Pros: Intel has never done me wrong Pretty fast even for 2.7 ghz Does what I need it to and then some Cons: None Overall Review: I don’t see the problem with people complaining about the 2.7 ghz. It runs just fine and is pretty fast. I would recommend it.
