Overall Review: Intel really delivered on this CPU — I was in need of a new PC and debated building with the AMD5600X or similar, but when I saw this one on the horizon I waited a few weeks and I’m very glad I did! I received a 2060 as a hand-me-down basically and wanted to build a decent PC around it, aside from video card the build cost was about $700. I use my pc as an everyday system for web browsing and some gaming, no interest in overclocking or trying to max out the newest games or…

Pros: As fast as the AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. Cons: It was not free! 🙂 Overall Review: Coming from a i7-4790K@4.8GHz to this i5-12400 running with P1 and P2 at 4095 the difference is like night and day. Running same RTX 3060 in both it has really improved the overall performance of my computer. Very nice upgrade for not a lot of coin.

Pros: Runs Cool runs quiet uses little energy. a great upgrade from my 4790k. Does not break a sweat paired with my RTX 2070 on any of my games. I did not realize how long in the tooth my 4790k was getting until I installed the i512400. Cons: Absolutely no complaints. Overall Review: For the money this is an absolutely fantastic CPU The box cooler even works great.

Pros: Low power, low temps A whopping 12 performance threads on a low end CPU, practically a 12600k without paying for the efficiency cores Probably won’t be the bottleneck until my cousin gets a 3080 or better Cons: Stock cooler is garbage, push pins were not strong enough to keep it mounted on the motherboard. Locked core ratio, but BCLK overclocking is back on 12th gen so that’s barely a downside Overall Review: Highly recommend this CPU for any gaming PC with less than an RTX 3080

Pros: Amazing power for a relatively good price Integrated Graphics Only $200 Outperforms all other CPUs in it’s price tier (especially AMD as of writing this) Cons: $200 Slightly more expensive than the version without the integrated graphics (12400f) Motherboards for this CPU are relatively expensive compared to LGA1200 and AM4 Overall Review: This is a great product for a budget build, paired with an H670 or B660 motherboard, it can do some serious gaming for a low price (relatively).

Pros: – fast – wallet friendly – stock cooler can get the close to the max out of this thing (very loud tho, hot too) Cons: – non so far. Genuinely impressed. – if i had to choose, the stock cooler is not great. same performance as previous coolers just looks better. AMD’s stock cooler is better but can not compete with this in price Overall Review: – would recommend it over 5600x for the current price difference. If you have the extra cash, get a better tower cooler. Stock is not the best.

Pros: A fast, lower power usage 6 core 12 thread CPU Cons: Well, I started out having AVX-512 support and thought since I had it, that it would be neat to use with PS3 emulation. I thought “Cool!” “Wow! “Nice” Then I did a BIOS update, and without warning, the update DISABLED A FEATURE I ALREADY HAD. Well… I guess I just didn’t deserve it!!! Just another F-U from corporate business people. Can’t say I have had a 5-star experience. I just can’t after having a feature TAKEN AWAY AFTER…
