Pros: Beats my old i9 9900k! 10cores/20 threads of 5ghz+ goodness! Runs cool. Overall Review: Bought this on impulse to replace an i9 9900k. Super happy with it. I’m running it in a cooler master nr200 with a deepcool castle ex280 aio and it runs perfectly. It runs at 4.9ghz by default, gave it an easy permanent 5ghz on all cores @1.295v. Isles at 30-33c, 45-53c while gaming and 86c under stress with aida64 and realbench. Won’t be pushing it past that for a while as it already eats anything…

Cons: Non I can think of. Thought I might have issue when building the rig due to no graphics on cpu but worked out. Overall Review: Bought this for my new board, replaced 7700k, big leap for the games I play, Flight sims. I use corsair water cooling, and my Temps are never above 65c during game play so far. I haven’t overclocked it yet and probably won’t need to, turbo boost keeps me at 4900mhz-5100mhz during game play and get more than enough fps. Very happy with purchase.

Overall Review: This chip was cheaper than a Ryzen 5800X and was actually in stock, unlike the AMD which would have been my first choice. For games, especially when running higher resolution where you would be GPU-bound, it is still a fine CPU. I’ve O/C mine to 5.1, and I think I can go higher as it is still at stock voltage and no more than 70C under load with air cooling.

Pros: gamer focused fast cool fresh reliable durable smells good Cons: mobo prices Overall Review: pair it with fast ram, use XMP and a z490 mobo for the best experience (msi, gigabyte or asus) pricing is actually kinda fair and ryzen 5 5600x is out of stock so this was the next best thing. no regrets and you get street fighter v, serious sam 4r, crysis remastered, for free.

Pros: Fast Cons: None Overall Review: I upgraded from a 920 I7, I knew it was going to be a huge leap, but wow. I haven’t needed to touch any overclocking yet, this runs everything buttery smooth. Temp never above 60c, but we will see when I overclock with an arctic 360.

Pros: Immense gains coming from I7 4790! Didn’t go Ryzen since the Intel prices are getting so cheap lol who would’ve thought… Turbo boost 3.0 to 5.1ghz, games run like butter. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Cons: Can run a little hot, good cooler required obviously! Overall Review: Amazing cpu, never thought I’d buy high-end, yet here i am with this monster cpu in 2021 for an amazing price.. Thx Newegg!
