Pros: These are great, I have used probably 40+ of the 665p 1TB, now ready for the new version. Performance is definitely faster than the 665p. I can confirm these will work with VROC RAID without a premium key. I tested 4 in a RAID0 on VROC using the same CrystalDiskMark settings as recommended by Highpoint for their SSD NVMe RAID card (SSD7103), and although these are not as fast as my 970 Evo Plus 1TB drives in a RAID 0 on the Highpoint, they are less than half the cost. The final result…

Pros: I installed this in my ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING computer and had no problems with install. One of the most simple things to install in the system. Their was one weird quirk to making initializing the drive though. When I want into Disk Management The drive wouldn’t show. I had to go into device manager and under hard drives It was showing there. So I used the properties menu to initialize the drive. Worked like a charm. I don’t know if this is a standard way for this drive or if it…

Pros: This review is for the 1024 GB 670p Series Intel Solid State Drive. The SSD is an M.2 80mm PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 QLC internal drive. I installed this drive on an Asus Prime Z370-A motherboard with no issues. Knowing this drive would be the fastest in my computer and would have the most available space, I chose to leave my capable WD Black SSD in place as my OS boot drive. It boots into windows with an adequate 2141MB/s read and a 706MB/s write speed. Adding the 1TB Intel drive to the…

Pros: -Price -Intel SSD’s are known for their dependability Cons: It isn’t the fastest option Overall Review: The included benchmark is the 512GB 670p, it was ran on an older/budget laptop. Against the 512GB XPG SX8200 Pro it replaced, the Intel tested a little (~5%) slower in every area. However, while it benchmarks slower I don’t notice a decrease in real world performance. You can’t go wrong with Intel SSD’s, they’re comparable to the competition in price and performance but their…

Pros: Top notch when it comes to QLC drives and its performance. Intel has figured out the right combination of speed Cons: Needs Intels 11 Gen processor or newer to take full advantage of its speed. Can be a bit of a pain to get it to be recognized by the system upon first I stall. Overall Review: Overall I am very pleased and happy with this drive. Since It is faster than my os drive, and being that it’s a Quad Layer drive I switched my OS to this drive as its best for read intensive…

Pros: Intel reliability and warranty support NVMW SSD performance Good entry price point Power efficient Encryption support 5 year warranty Good overall performance, copying my data from my old NVME drive it was averaging around 350-400MB/s {long term, appox 230gb of data}, slightly lower than I had hoped for but not bad. During system use everything is very responsive, slightly snappier than with the OE drive. Cons: Not the fastest PCIE drive available Doesn’t have a great write life rating…

Pros: Lightning quick with tons of storage, this SSD will perform for anyone’s budget. I decided to try this unit in an M.2 external enclosure as I have plenty of storage internally with all of my machines. The unit performs really well –especially over USB-C and is a viable solution for anyone looking to expand/upgrade storage internally or externally. The unit seems to run cool and I haven’t found any issues with it. The price point seems pretty reasonable to me considering the amount of…

Pros: The Intel 670p (512GB) is an extremely fast M.2 SSD using 3rd GEN PCIe interface. I bench marked this against a Seagate ZP1000GM30011 (1TB) and a Crucial CT1000P5SSD8 (1TB). For the testing I used CrystalDiskMark on a Windows 10 x64 system and ran the test with 4 passes (1GB) at 3 separate times and took the average of the results. Seagate ZP1000GM30011 (1TB) ————————————————————– Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 3468.881 MB/s Sequential Write (Q=…
