Pros: Can’t really compare it to the other HTC since I don’t have it but few things I can say about it Plug and play. Comfort for hours Controllers stay in for over 5 hours Cons: Comes with US power, with no adapters Sometimes the earphones are a bit aids, and wish it would be ez to take them off Overall Review: Shipping & Delivery was fast to Israel and in Israel which is usually so slow out here. Came without any damage was perfectly fine.

Pros: – Unable to provide pro’s as I received a dead unit. – Vive was very helpful in pushing through a warranty claim with the manufacturer. I am currently awaiting a replacement unit from Newegg and will revise my review after that is received! Cons: – Item was DOA (spent 2 days working with Vive & Steam support teams before determining this). – Requested an exchange through Vive, Vive indicated that because I purchased from Newegg that I would have to deal with Newegg. – Contacted Newegg and was informed that they do not provide exchange or returns and that I must contact the original manufacturer (HTC Vive).

Pros: higher resolution then the vive single connector cable very nice head strap and headphones Cons: day one audio issues. it’s not my drivers it’s the device. constant disconnects inability to reliably find the vive wands inability to reliably find the vive basestations inexcusably bad customer support from htc let me just reaffirm the audio issues. Overall Review: let me start this off by saying im not new to VR . i have owned a vive for 2 years and the vive pro since launch, before that i owned a dk1. the vive was great. it felt like a maker product. ya there were bugs but the community was close and took care of most of them. it felt like a normal early adopter tax. my only complaint was the 15 minute set up time before every vr session. oh that light house isnt detecting anything. oh this controller forgot it existed, my 100$ want that it didnt want the touchpad to function. things like this really soured the mood for me but i understood the idea of early adopter and could roll with it. so i was over the moon when i read about a higher resolution PROFESSIONAL VIVE. surely this product will have better support and fewer glitches. well 7 months later and the vive pro is going to be replaced with a rift or a samsung odyssey. the problem is the persistant, undocumented, unplayable, bethesda esque bugs. everything from audio glitching out and sounding as if it was being played through kanye west’s abused computer or audio options not playing anything at all to resolution bugs where nothing scales at all from normal vive resolution. worse is that it suffers from every bug that the vive has as well! As we all know the support team is less than useless even for a 1000$ plastic piece of junk like this one. the worst part is that if it was consistently bad in the same or similar ways i could get used to it, work around it, maybe even find solutions but between valve/htc’s garbage support, the inconsistency and the miniscule user base i can’t justify trying to make this product work anymore. i just want to play simple game. i want to be able to log into elite dangerous and see something amazing, not a blurry mess i want to log into vrchat and hear my friends, not be ear ****** by a dank meme clip video because the audio is messed up. i want to be able to play skyrim and not watch my hands randomly disappear. TL:DR vive pro is the worst 1000$ i have spent on my pc set up yet.

Pros: As long as you follow the instructions, its pretty much plug and play. Barely noticed the wire running down my back, very immersive. Though the quality and pixels are noticeable, once you start playing a game, you completely forget they’re there. Cons: Face can get pretty sweaty very fast. Lens can get fogged up and you will find yourself needing to wipe them clean. make sure to use microfiber cloth. The headset itself is very weighty on the face, but if you get the deluxe strap, it holds the headset so nice and snug its easy to forget you’re wearing one to begin with. Overall Review: I would have given this 5 stars, but upon arrival, the package did not come with the sync cable. In the product it clearly states this was supposed to come with a sync cable for the stations which it did not. I haven’t bothered to contact support since it’s such a minor issue, but this was very annoying even though I didn’t need it. But there’s no telling when I WILL need it. Please make sure to include everything that is described next time. I was told Newegg was very trustworthy, not a great start in my opinion.

Pros: – High quality craftsmanship on the components – HMD is comfortable to wear and adjustable – Tracking works well for both the hmd and controllers Cons: – The ergonomics of the controllers are not really great and take some time to adjust to. – Only has display port on this model’s link box, which was unexpected and means it won’t work with a lot a laptops that don’t have display port. Overall Review: I would recommend this product to others because it feels like a high quality product that should last. I’m not sure there is anything I would change about the product other than the ergonomics of the controllers and showing a clear image of the current link box provided (it is mini DisplayPort and mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable).
