Pros: Very fast shipping. Received in a few days. Good all around scanner. Has ability to scan NEGATIVES/POSITIVES/ TRANSPARENCY’S Format’s film. Plus quick color adjustment of old prints as well. Software programs good. Cons: Although it’s states that it does medium formats ( 2- 1/4 by 2-1/4 or 2-/3/4 ) the trays are not designed to hold that size film that is mounted in slide frames. When tried to scan would change format from square to much smaller and would not see next transparency but cut it to half. about the size of 35mm. I don’t like to remove from the frame mount. Should be able to scan with it mounted. So they need a tray to scan mounted film slides as well. They forgot the 110 film format as well. Two trays and not on any. That was the Kodak Instamatic film. They also need to give a owner operation manual, not download. Overall Review: I owned a 1670 Epson Perfection and was pleased. Did still had problems with medium or 35mm film format’s not able to scan with frame mounts.
The frame tray that came with it had the 110 film format option. That tray does not work with the V600 Epson. That was a good scanner with good software.
I do think that Epson V600 Perfection is a very good product and this scanner does a excellent job scanning prints and some film.

Pros: If your cat sits on it you can make catscan jokes! I am using it to scan photo negatives and so far it is working well. I know the Epson name and quality and this lives up to that name. Cons: It’s bigger than I thought it would be. Overall Review: I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for a versatile scanner.

Pros: Can’t tell you. DOA item. Lots and lots of pretty blue tape holding it together for shipping. Some nifty bags if you want to store stuff. The product box is nice and thick with glossy paper and pretty photos. Too bad because it all had to go back. Cons: It arrived DOA. No lights, nothing. The power supply had an output current, but the device would not power up. The software was installed without a problem. I wasted my time repacking the item with all that pretty blue tape, all those bags, the frustrating styrofoam spacers into that pretty product box and shipping it back for an exchange. Overall Review: I’ll likely regret the exchange. I had a very sinking feeling while unboxing the first scanner. I just knew that I should treat all that packing very carefully. I don’t know why, but I just “felt a disturbance in the force.” I buy a lot of stuff and unbox it–never before have I ever had such a premonition.
