Cons: – Dyson refurbished products are supposed to be certified but the one I received was dirty and damaged.
– Dyson does not sell refurbished products directly, only through the marketplace.
– Dyson does not replace refurbished products. The customer needs to return them, then they inspect them, but at least I never received a replacement and had to refute the charge through my credit card.
– Dyson initially said they would replace the damaged product but never did. Only after weeks of giving me the workaround did they agree to refund the charge. Overall Review: Save yourself time and grievance and don’t purchase refurbished Dyson products unless they agree to provide a refund upon request when a products is damaged. It took my six phone calls to Dyson and refuting the charge on my credit card for them to agree to a refund process, that they say can take up to 28 days. This is all because they never replaced the returned product. Overall very bad experience with a return of a refurbished product.

Cons: I just bought a Dyson fan (TP02) refurbished and it arrived today. The product shows very heavy usage as if it was abused. It makes a clicking noise when it first turns on and then goes away after 30 seconds. The remote is scratched and dented all over… The body is dented and scratched as well. This was the worst decision. I could have gotten a brand new one for a bit more… I am extremely disappointed with Dyson and their product. Overall Review: I would not recommend it at all.

Overall Review: I ordered it as refurbished. The item came as expected, “refurbished”. The remote and the machine shown a lot of signs of wear. Everything wasn’t as frustrated as it didn’t work. The machine LED kept showing “E” error code with no further explanation on what was actually wrong. I followed the troubleshooting steps and spent an hour chatting with a Dyson support but no luck.

– All the parts were there
– 2-year warranty when registered with the Dyson app. Cons: – Filters were not sealed (carbon and paper) so it is unclear if they were new
– Carbon filter was bent a bit and didn’t fit flush in the machine. After some bending, it fit
– Dirty and needed cleaning
– Scuffs on the base and on the hoop. Not big, but on a white fan, noticeable. Overall Review: Overall, it was what I expected. A little beat up but still functional. Packaged in a plain brown box with some structure to hold the parts. All the parts were there and when put together it worked. YMMV on the cosmetic condition so if I were ordering I’d consider this one an office or other less conspicuous area for displaying.
The item itself is fantastic for filtering and blowing air. I have one in the bedroom (this one) and one downstairs I bought from a popular warehouse store. While expensive, Dyson makes quality products, so I am happy with my purchase.

Pros: Very quiet and circulates very well. Cons: All of sudden Oscillation doesn’t work any more!!!!! I tried taking the top portion out and tried. Remote is sending the signal, but no luck Overall Review: I probably wouldn’t recommend this, unless the warranty period changes significantly!!

Pros: Low price. Cons: Doesn’t work! Overall Review: I ordered this refurbished Dyson, because the price was very good! Well I got what I paid for! It now malfunctions after about 3 minutes of operation. Can reset but happens over and over. Would not recommend a refurbished unit, based on this one! The issue is an H2 error message meaning it is over drawing current, when it is on as a fan! So it can’t do what it is designed to do? Dyson products are pretty awesome, but this was a refurbished item, and now we know why!

Price Overall Review: Do not buy refurbished Dyson or you will be disappointed. I just got my unit and first off it was dirty coming out of the box. I had to wipe the whole thing down. Next I looked at the remote, it was all scuffed up. Then upon further inspection, the filter housing has a small crack in it. Maybe 1/8th inch, but still. Then when I went to plug it in, I noticed the plug prongs are bent outward. I also was not able to get the filter housing off to check for packaging. I did look up a video and will try again later. All of these things are small, but when you put them together it is FAR from the Dyson experience I am used to and NOT worth the discount! Buyer beware.
