Pros: Bought this for the small footprint as it needed to sit in a small space. It was exactly what I was looking for and keeps my Fiber modem and ethernet adapter running for many hours. I like that you can disable the alarm easily and that it was very straightforward to hook up and power on. Cons: none Overall Review: If you’re looking for a simple UPS to power a couple of small devices, this is the ticket on the cheap.

Overall Review: I picked this up to fit into a structured wiring panel to run a couple of unmanaged switches (heat is a concern so I don’t plan to run much in there). It fits in it perfectly… we put two little blocks in the bottom it for it to sit on, that way the cable can fit in the base plug at the bottom of the panel. The only potential downside is you can’t fit the (included) USB cable in the side as the UPS pretty much takes the entire width of the panel. This isn’t a problem for me, but I could see that being useful if you had a small computer (like a raspberry pi) to do some sort of automation or something. What it does include though is two USB ports, advertising as “charging” ports, that would be useful for powering a raspberry pi without the need of using an adaptor and going through the inverter (which is inefficient). They provide 2.4A (it’s written on the top of the UPS, but the pictures don’t really provide enough clarity to see), which is more than enough for a headless Pi.

Pros: mounted to the wall easily. everything works as expected Overall Review: It’s a great solution for low powered items like routers and internet gateways. Set it up next to my Fios install in the basement and I can forget about it still have wifi even if there’s a power outage

Pros: Pros: * form factor allows under table mounting of UPS with great access to outlets and on/off switch * the CPS USB controls available via USB interface works with many devices out of the box without additional software * wide variety of Windows/MacOS/Linux hosts supported, most commercial NAS devices (QNAP, Synology), even a Raspberry Pi 3 or 4! Cons: Cons: * the gel cell is “12v 5.5ah” which is only 1/2 to 2/3 capacity of similar priced SOHO UPSs * there are only two status LEDs, other SOHO UPSs display voltage and load on a display – info that is accessible via CPS software * fit and finish – the SL700U just doesn’t have the finish nor “feel” of a durable device for a data closet. Only time will tell! Overall Review: This SL700U side outlet UPS is great for installing with IoT gear or for an unmanaged remote display or in a small data closet. The Cyberpower Systsm (CPS) software is basic, but so many devices support setup of the SL700U out of the box through the USB connector, we’ve added another star for the review. The only real downside is the relatively small battery capacity and unusual size battery in this UPS. By now, we would expect a LiFEPO alternative to the lead acid gel cell, but not in this price range, yet! The CPS software is OK and does allow a Windows, MacOS, or LInux box to tailor the UPS settings and response to power disruptions. Many NAS devices and data appliances also directly support the SL700U without additional software. A half dozen 2 and 4 bay QNAP SOHO NAS devices recognized the SL470U natively. Every Lenovo, HP, laptop and Tiny PC boxes worked well using the Windows or Linux CPS software. Net: good little UPS, great form factor, wish it had higher capacity non-gel cell battery!

Pros: This UPS was a great solution to support networking equipment (modem, router, switch) that I installed in my basement. It has lots of outlets and the size of the unit was perfect for mounting on the network wall panel. Cons: I wish the outlets were more spaced apart, since all of my equipment has large plugs. But this is an issue with every UPS I’ve seen, and is certainly limited by the overall size of the unit. Maybe they could have put a couple of the outlets on the sides of the UPS??? Overall Review: Overall this is a great product. I’m always happy with CyberPower products, and this is not an exception.

Pros: It works as intended it protects against power surges and black outs As easy to use as a normal power bar Cons: Unless you need it you should disable the alarm Overall Review: I would suggest this or one of the bigger models on any computer set up worth $1000 or more
