Pros: Creative came a long way with this device. Many will not realize the improvement in sound quality until they actually plug this device in and hear for themselves. I think the main feature to highlight is the fact that you can use across different platforms(PC,Consoles,My Android phone w/ usb adapter). This device will boost the sound quality and sound level for sure. I would recommend this purchase to all gamers and audiophiles. Cons: None that I have ran across personally but it would…

Pros: + Under 100 USD (paid 99USD on the Black Friday Deal). + Supports DSD over PCM up to DSD128. + Sound quality is on par, if not better than the Dragonfly Red DAC at less than half the price. + Gaming related features are pretty great with realtime virtual surround sound effect. + Hardware Dolby decoding included Cons: – Setting up DSD over PCM using foobar2000 (Windows), foo_dsd_asio output can be challenging. Many instructions on the web are already outdated. – Volume control can be…

Pros: -Amazing sound quality -Stylish on you desktop. -Scout mode is so nice in games like Fortnite, Apex. Cons: None so far. Overall Review: You think the onboard sound provided by your motherboard is good until you try this…

Pros: So being a custom gaming desktop user for years, when I decided to purchase my first gaming laptop (Alienware M17) I just didn’t like the built-in sound chip though it is a good one, I’ve just never been a fan of onboard sound chips. Since I have always used Creative sound cards in my custom gaming desktops I decided to give this external DAC a try. Man, was this ever the right choice! This external sound card is simply perfect. Sounds great no matter if you’re playing a game,…

Pros: Great value Cons: Volume knob needs quite a bit of turning to make obvious changes Overall Review: I got this for music production, I use 64 bit/384 KHz audio files and needed something to play the project back without resampling hundreds of tracks on the fly, which is really CPU-intensive. I was at 92 KHz before so no difference in sound quality but that wasn’t the point anyway. I was a little concerned at first because the “Scout Mode” button keeps flashing, which usually means a…

Pros: Works awesome with my beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro’s (250ohm). Powers them well, sound is great! Cons: None Overall Review: Recommended if you need a solid amp.

Pros: Motherboard sounds chips are such low quality! I Remember the good old days when Sound Cards were something we all wanted and for good reason No POP sounds when we boot up no crackling and hissing. The software to control this DAC also makes it possible to switch between my amp and speaker and a pair of headphones with a click of a button no reboot required any more due to sound stuck in one mode. One of the best features though is the volume nob that also has a mute option build in….

Pros: Easy to install and hook up Cons: If I had to pick something it would be the fact that there’s no covers for input/output ports. Other than that. Amazing! Overall Review: This product is awesome! I recently switched from a gaming headset to an audiphile pair of headphones. This DAC is a simple hook up and installation. Audio software is easy to use. Sound is awesome. I can hear everything I want to hear and more. So long gaming headsets!no covers for the ports for input/output. But…..
