Pros: The mouse itself seems like a good replacement for my Roccat Nyth. Cons: The software is not user friendly and causes memory errors on shutdown. I’ve used several different gaming mice over the years and never once had the issues that icue software has. And its not just me. Search the web for “CUETrayMenu iCUE.exe Application Error On Shutdown” to see for yourself on the Corsair forums. On a lesser note there is nothing intuitive when using the software to bind a key to buttons. Overall Review: I wouldn’t recommend this mouse to others. As you can see in the forum thread noted above if you run into this error you are expected to troubleshoot for what could be hours to find out the cause. In addition you may have to disable other drivers or software to fix it. The memory error has been going on long enough that they should have found a solution by now.

Pros: The side buttons still work Cons: The scroll wheel is already skipping, and scrolling in the incorrect direction. It is also double clicking sometimes. The software is also awful to setup, games don’t recognize g1-g12 so it’s mandatory to rebind every single button. Overall Review: I have now used all 3 major MMO Gaming Mice. My summation is Razer is the best, cause they take the longest to break, and as long as you have a backup mouse prepared, they also will exchange each mouse once for a working mouse. If the Corsair Scimitar would have lasted it would have been nice (All the thumb buttons are extremely uniform so even coming from years on a naga, it was something to get used to) The Logitech G600 was just entirely too large for my hands, I couldn’t actuate the thumb buttons without hard gripping the mouse, which also would actuate the new *Ring Finger Button*. I returned that one without actually even getting to use it because i was unable to use it.

Pros: Lot of buttons Beautiful color Long cable iCue compatible (can use same macros that I use with my Corsair keyboard) Cons: Has a cord (but not a big problem for me) My thumb was hurting after my first day of use. iCue is a bit buggy and is very slow responding in some occasion. Overall Review: If you need all the extra button, it’s a great choice

Pros: -Nice adjustable thumb buttons -Weighty feel -Side grip is good, feels high quality -RGB lights are really good as expected -Design looks good Cons: -Scroll wheel is super hard to press, very badly designed -Scroll wheel started to loudly squeak after a week of use Overall Review: Its really expensive and not really worth over the g600 unless you really want the rgb or adjustable thumb pad. Its got a cleaner claw grip form compared to the more gamer/relaxed grip of the g600 I’m ok with both designs functionality but the scimitar’s design definitely looks better. The scroll wheel is terrible, it feels like they wanted to have a floating scroll wheel and designed the entire thing around that idea. Not only does the floating wheel design make it harder and more awkward to press it down (m5), I’m pretty sure the design is the cause of the loud obnoxious squeaking sound mine has developed.

Pros: – Adjustable side buttons for the best positioning. My thumb rests on the “5” and has easy access to the buttons around the “5”.- Each button has a “feel” to me. So I know what am pressing.- Feels very well built than the Logitech G600.- For a heavy mouse, it glides very nicely on the Razer Sphex v2. Making it feel a lot lighter than it is.- Very light side button switches compared to the stiff side buttons on the G600. Cons: – Heavy MMO mouse. Heavier than my Logitech G600 that I use for my Gigabyte G5 when traveling.- Heavy to carry. Which makes it hard to do sudden flic movements in FPS games.- iCUE software is kinda confusing at first.- Stiff and hard cable.- Optional: I have my buttons adjusted low and I have a wide and a short thumb. Making it hard for me to click 1, 4, 7, and 10. Thumb is hitting the mousepad. While the G600 doesn’t have that issue.- Optional: Since I have a short thumb, ergo and pressing 10, 11, and 12 is hard too. This also applies to the G600 for me.- Optional: Am not a palm rest mouse user. So I have a tendency to double-clicking from my palms to the mouse. This is a big mouse compared to the G600! Overall Review: Comparing with the G600.The G600 has a V for the front set and another V for the backset. The only indicator is the “_” feel to let you know where your thumb is resting, but the V pattern for all buttons is confusing. So naturally, I have a higher chance of pressing the wrong button in the G600. Also, the side buttons are fixed. Making my short thumb very tired during long sessions.The Scimitar I have no issues with. Each button has a profile “feel” and the 5 has the “_” feel. ALSO, you can adjust the side buttons to suit your ergo needs and preference. Literally customized to your hand, however, the mouse is bigger than the G600 making this mouse a palm rest mouse which I am not. So my palm has a tendency to double-clicking.Info about me: My FPS mouse is the Razer Viper Mini which is a 61g mouse and has a paracord cable. Am a claw/hybrid user, wrist movement only 99% of the time, and a high DPI user (1.6k – 2.8k). So with the Scimitar, I have the DPI set to 2.6k, the G600 set to 2.4k, and the Viper Mini set to 1.6k. The mousepad for all mice is the Razer Sphex V2. My table is a glass top.

Pros: Looks pretty Cons: Doesn’t work without iCue software. iCue software is buggy and overall just bad. After less than a year of light use (I don’t game very often anymore) mouse started failing. it would only register about 3 out of every four clicks. Not sure why such a pricey product would become faulty so quickly. Maybe they should focus less on pretty RGB lighting and make a more functional and reliable product. Just a thought. I will be going back to my old Razer Naga Hex for now. Overall Review: No I would not recommend this product to anyone unless I disliked them

Pros: Nice hand feel. iCue software kinda works now- still too confusing. Cons: Paint rubs off the side buttons in under a year, I dont even use these buttons either, unacceptable for the price tag. Overall Review: If you play online games with many buttons, this is the mouse for you. Best fitting for my hand Ive used. Questionable paint quality, and the rubber side hand grips are known to peel off eventually. Still, I do recommend it since Ive found nothing I liked better in the comfort area.
