Pros: So much quieter, cant hear it at all when not gaming. Flat cables look great and keep flat shape if slightly zipped or tucked. Rounded edges on the PSU shroud look cool combined with a slick sticker on both sides instead of technical jargon on one. Now if it could only be flipped. Lol. Silent mode for while basically idle is underappreciated once you have it. 7 SATA connector on two cables. Molex for legacy is a bonus. Easy to hide the extra 8-pin GPU connector behind flat cables….

Pros: 1. Efficient, 80 PLUS GOLD Certified. Supports both 115V/60Hz and 230V/50Hz without a manual switch (100240V and 47-63Hz). 2. Silent (zero RPM Mode Fan) operation under low loads (up to ~250 watts). The PSU includes a “Silent Operation” warning sticker. At power on, the Fan turns on after 2-3 seconds, then runs for 5-6 seconds, to let you know its working. 3. The 24 pin Motherboard Cable has 28-pins (18+10) where the cable plugs into the PSU’s modular interface. The extra four pins are…

Pros: It arrived in a fairly discrete box that only says Newegg on the outside. When I lifted the power supply from the box I can feel how solid and heavy it is. It weighs almost 4 lbs. This is the quietist power supply I have ever used. Drawing 310 watts at the wall with a i7, and a GTX 1080 The fan never kicked on. I had to add extra hardware to get the load high enough for the fan to even spin. And even then, it was still much quieter than the ambient noise in my office. Looking through…

Pros: This is a modern power supply with all the features you would expect. Fully modular supports Windows 10’s new Modern Standby mode, peak efficiency at 50%and the fan does not even com on till 260 Watts. The fan is only 12 decibels until 550 watts then it rises to 18. It has a single rail at 54 amps. I really like the blacked-out Corsair logo on the fan side, something new. It comes with two CPU 8 pins and two doubled up PCI-e cables for 4 8 pin plugs. Packaging is good manufactured by…

Pros: I was not expecting this to be as small as it is! 6 and three quarters length at the most depending if you count the power cord case. Its only six inches wide and one of the smallest larger wattage PSU units I have seen! Granted its been a long time since I needed one, but it is impressive that they have improved over the years! This should work in many small form factor computers. I personally have learned that adding more isnt always better. I like keeping it as simple as possible….

Pros: The first thing you notice in taking the RM850 out of the box is the weight. It has that premium heft to, solid and heavy. This isnt one of those inexpensive power supplies that seem to be no more than a metal box with a few heatsinks inside. First inspection shows the historic beveled edges design with no bling, just purpose built and classy white legends and a small information label on the top. The power supply is 6 ½ inches in length so its slightly longer then ordinary supplies so…

Pros: Taking the psu out of the box you immediately can feel its a premium well built psu, its fairly hefty weight also in a small package. 80+Gold efficiency certified. The sheer amount of connectors provided with this psu is simply mind blowing: 14x SATA (two 4x sata cables, two 3x sata cables) 3x 8pin CPU (three 1x 8pin cpu cables) 4x 8pin PCIe (two 2x 8pin pcie cables) 4x molex (one 4x molex cable) 1x motherboard 24pin cable The length of the cables are pretty generous, it will have no…

Pros: There are a lot things to like about the power supply. 1st it is very quiet. At times (low loads) it makes no noise at all. Even when running it is quiet. Huge plus for a large (wattage) power supply. It is modular, so you don’t have extra cables to hide, and it comes with a large amount of cables to meet all of your needs. I like the open screen above and below. It lets more air move around the unit for cooler. It will hand your gaming needs without a problem. It also serves well for…
