Pros: – This keyboard feels and looks great! The brushed metal base and matte keys really go well together – Small, efficient form factor that almost feels too small sometimes, but definitely would fit in a smaller space – Solid, smooth keys. Maybe not as “clicky” as some other switches, but still leaps better than your standard membrane keyboard – Love the media and volume controls directly on the keyboard. I love the volume rollers that these keyboard have. – Extremely responsive and feels great for gaming – The extra key caps for commonly used gaming keys (WASD, etc.) are awesome! They’re raised and angled a bit to give you a better feel for where your fingers are at and help you place yourself on the keyboard – And the RGB! I love messing around with the different RGB behaviors and colors. The colors are vibrant and the iCue software lets you customize behavior to your heart’s content – The cable is a detachable USB-C, meaning that you won’t lose another keyboard to a faulty or split cable and can replace it whenever Cons: – No ability to control RGB profiles without the iCue software. I realize this would be hard to control with just the keyboard alone, but having the option to toggle through stock colors/patterns would be nice – No dedicated macro buttons. Maybe this was to keep the form factor small, but I certainly appreciate a row of macro keys on my gaming keyboards Overall Review: – I *personally* prefer a full keyboard with a number pad, but I love this keyboard so much that I might just get a separate number pad so I don’t have to find a different keyboard – The iCue software can control and monitor other devices in your PC, but I did not spend much time with the software to be honest

Pros: Solid keyboard with nice aluminum frame that does not show fingerprints. – Compact without the added 10-key for easy storage in backpack. – Easy to use Corsair iCUE software. – Media keys for easy volume +/- and on the fly media playback. – Tournament mode with a simple flip of the switch that locks in macros and lighting (see video). This feature can be locked with the locking mechanism which is a nice feature. – USB C braided power cord that fits snug and solid. – Cherry MX super sensitive keys that are perfect for ultra-fast game-play. 7 settings for polling rate up to 8000 Hz / 0.125 ms. – Many lighting schemes and dedicated button on keyboard for dimming / lighting (adjust brightness level up to 5 increments. Cons: – No USB power ports or headphone jack. – heavy for a compact design weighing at 1.99 lbs without a palm rest which must be purchased separately. – Polling rate over 1000 Hz probably not noticeable to most people. Overall Review: This is the best keyboard I have ever owned and I’ve used many gaming keyboards in the past. The RBG is superb on this one and I leave mine set to “RAINBOW” which looks awesome next to my Corsair Scimitar Pro mouse also set on “RAINBOW” lighting scheme. Corsair’s iCUE software is flawless with this keyboard and very easy to use. It’s all business with a flip of an easy access switch on the keyboard to turn the keyboard into tournament mode which is totally awesome. Lighting for tournament modes are able to be customized. Although I use the 10-Key for my business everyday. I don’t miss it because this is by far my favorite gaming keyboard I have ever used and the saved space from not having the 10-Key on this board is welcome when I get the time to play. I would definitely recommend this keyboard for anyone that wants one of the best that’s currently out.

Pros: * Solid keyboard for gaming, keys feel good with great response without a loud click (there is more noise than membrane keyboards, but no where near as loud as Blue, Red and Brown switches. * Individual colors for each key is neat, as well as the ability to remap or even turn off specific keys (I have caps lock turned off and the LED is off as well). * The easy to reach volume wheel on the top right is great. I wish every keyboard I had had that. * Solid hefty design, has decent weight to it and does not slide around on the desk at all. * The extra WASD keys have a unique texture to them, as well as the W, A, and D keys angling towards the S key. There are also QERF and and an additional W and D that have the texture on them as well. I cant tell a difference between the W keys, but the 2 D keys have a different slope to them (WASD has the D higher on the right, if you are using the 2nd D with the F key, the D has the higher part on the left, so that the D and F slope to each other. Makes it very easy to make sure your fingers are in the right place. Cons: * For me, I need a 10 key, since I use my computer for work and school first, and gaming 3rd. * ICUE software is a very large program, and for me the learning curve was steep. Maybe if I had more RGB stuff it would be nice if I needed to control fans an such as well, but I have no LED’s at all in my system, so it is a bloated piece of software to me. * Wish it was a true USB C to USB C cable, and having the Keyboard as a hub would have been nice. * The Gaming/Tournament switch is useless for me, since I am not a hardcore gamer, I just don’t use it. I guess it could be useful for those that do game a lot. Overall Review: I had never heard of Cherry Silver switches before, so was interested to see how they felt. I was impressed overall with the feel for gaming, but for everyday typing, the keyboard just felt a little taller overall than I am used to (I have an old wireless Logitec keyboard I have been using for almost 15 years and am just way to used to the feel and layout). I have a keyboard at work with some knockoff cherry blue switches that I like better than this one for typing as well. This is not something that I would buy, regardless of price, but it is not targeted toward me either. It is a solid keyboard that will probably take a lot of abuse, and has some very neat features for someone that games. While this will not be my daily driver keyboard, it will be by my desk for when I want to play some games, because it does feel more responsive for that.

Pros: This keyboard has great build quality. It’s made of plastic and aluminum with absolutely no flex. The underside has some of the best rubberized anti-slip pads I’ve seen on a keyboard where even the pull-out legs are rubberized. Add in the surprisingly heavy weight for a 70% keyboard, and this thing isn’t budging. The RGB looks great against the black frame and even has a slight reflective quality against the brushed aluminum. The PBT double-shot keycaps allow the light to shine through while protecting the coating and letter from wear or fading. Meanwhile, the mechanical switch underneath feels smooth to type on, and the short actuation distance and 8,000 Hz polling rate ensures your actions are translated into your games as quickly as possible. Corsair’s iCUE software allows you to change multiple settings from polling rates to macros, or to setup simple RGB effects while allowing you to download more complex RGB profiles or create your own. Don’t want to have their software running all the time? You can save multiple profiles to your keyboard and toggle through them on the board itself, or disable all effects instantly with the “tournament” switch. For those that like to customize your keyboard, Corsair threw in textured WASD keycaps, but you can use compatible 3rd party caps as well. The braided USB C cord is removeable, allowing you to also change your wiring as well. Volume scroll wheel isn’t anything new, but it’s superior to old buttons. Once you use a keyboard with one you’ll never be able to go back. Cons: Media keys are at the top left of the keyboard which is awkward for non-lefty’s to use. Should’ve been thrown below the volume wheel or swapped in place of the RGB/profile buttons. No USB ports on keyboard. Polling rate over traditional 1,000 Hz gaming boards is honestly unnoticeable. No palm rest. Overall Review: Overall a great board where the cons are based more on per-user needs, preference, and budget.

Pros: I like the construction and ease of use of this keyboard, this is partly due to the hardware and software interface. The keystrokes feel legitimate as well. This is a tournament keyboard by all means. The firmware update took no time. This is a very reliable keyboard that makes life much easier. Corsair is not stupid by all means because they’ve made a product that fits the company image. The software is very easy to use. This keyboard is very user friendly and it doesn’t take too much space. Cons: RGB lighting uses basic technique. Overall Review: This is a good keyboard for the tournament, and it belongs to that environment.
