Pros: -Headphones are comfortable for long hours of gaming. -The sound is great, really loud when cranked all the way up so I usually tone it down. -The Haptic Feedback is the star of this headset, played Black Ops Cold War and the sound immersion is insane. Cons: -Mic is not bad but it could be improved. -The headset is wired with no wireless option. Hopefully in the future a new iteration will include wireless. -Only one color available which is arctic camo -___- . Hey Corsair, just make them black, like come on. Overall Review: If you can get past the ugly camo and don’t mind a wired connection, this headset is a great purchase for those who love immersive gaming. Corsair did good.

Pros: Awesome sound quality The haptic boost is friggin AWESOME w music and basically any game that isn’t FPS Cons: No surround sound, making it difficult to play fps games well. Haptic boost turned all the way up gives sloght feedback to the mic, making it less than desirable for audio outputs. Overall Review: Great product for what it is, I love using it for anything that isn’t a competitive fps.

Pros: + Very comfortable + Quality Construction + Great sound quality Cons: – heavy bass – haptic feedback not consistent Overall Review: I have long been a fan of Corsair products, having purchased everything from psu’s, keyboards, cases, memory, AIO’s and headphones from them in the past. I have had great luck with their headphones, so I was excited to test out the new HS60 Haptic. First of all, when you open them up and look at them, they really are a quality piece of kit. Nice materials, aluminum frame, solid feel. Comfort is excellent, with the ear foam offering nice cushion and a good amount of tilt. Cord length is good at about 6ft, but best suited for PC use, stretching across a room from a PS5/Xbox is not going to work very well. Sound is quite good. Bass is a bit heavy though, but you can tune the headset using the iCue app to better align with personal tastes. I’ve tested the headphones in several games and some music and the Haptic sensation is pretty fun, when it activates. My only complaint is that it can sometimes be hit or miss and generally requires specific frequencies/loudness for the feature to activate. But when it does, it certainly add a new dimension to the experience. Overall the HS60 Haptic is a solid headset. Comfortable, good sound and good quality for the price point. The Haptic function may be a bit of a gimmick to some, but does add something to the experience when it feel like activating. If you do not care about the haptic feature, there are other headsets that may fit the bill with similar quality and sound for less $$.

Pros: Comfortable Bass Detachable mic Excellent mic No sweat ear muffs Comfortable band Easy attach mic Excellent packaging Haptic feedback is an awesome feature USB connection Cons: Mic covering easy to lose Not a fan of camo (I’m stretching here) Wish it offered a wireless option or connector Overall Review: These are the most comfortable I’ve ever owned, period. The memory foam makes a difference but what is surprising is the cooling feature, to me, and no sweating. As a bigger person who, when working from home, must use a headset/mic with Bria for phone calls for helpdesk and vendor calls these are comfortable and cool. When watching movies, listening 🎧 to music 🎵🎶, or playing 🎴 games the bass, feedback, and surround sound is excellent. Without being wireless you don’t have to worry about battery life but I wish it was still offered. The cord is strong and sturdy and of decent length. The Corsair Cue software has come a very long way and the sound setting options are very good. I’ve played with them a little and am very pleased with the options. I’m not a fan of the camo but it’s not overly garish so it’s not turn off. No LEDs so if you’re looking for for bling, look elsewhere. The listed price is great, to me, for the quality. Corsair continues to impress. I’d personally like to see a wireless option and different “skins” but I love the premise behind these cans and how they work.

Pros: Build: For the most part the materials of this headset are solid. The cable has a braded sleeve. The microphone is flexible and sturdy. The Ear cup brackets are metal. Also, the head strap is padded and covered in a faux leather material. Sound: In game these headphones sound pretty good. The bass is definitely there and the haptics can add a little extra immersive feel. Mic: The mic is removable, i.e. replaceable. It also is very flexible and sturdy. Everyone said I was crisp and clear without any feedback or distortion. Cons: Build: While the build of these headphones is mostly solid, the ear cups feel cheap. Maybe for weight, I’m unsure. They are plastic and have an odd ability to resonate sounds right to your left ear when you touch the outside of the cups or the cable is touched or rubs along your shirt. I’ve never worn a headset that did that and is quite distracting. Weight and fit: These headphones are heavy. At .93lb they are .23LB heavier than the HS60 PRO (non-haptic). Meaning the Haptics are 1/4 of the weight. While that does not seem like a lot, it is when you move your head around and play for long periods of time. The fit is also not great. I’m not a small guy, but I had to set these headphones at the smallest setting and never really got a snug fit with both the ear cups and head strap. It had a tendency to slip on my head. (I do have short hair) Sounds: The in game experience with these headphones is pretty good. However, these headphones are, in my opinion, abysmal for music. The highs are flat and muffled. The bass is really sloppy and all over the place. The mids also seem muffled. All headphones give a unique listening experience with music, and most times it just missing something on the high side or low side, and usually acceptable. However, these are simply subpar for music listening. Overall Review: I am pretty critical with my Newegg reviews, especially with items that should be premium items. If the items are good or great, I will give high praises. If they are budget items, I typically give some slack because the price is the main driver and you want a good value. However, in this case, I really don’t see the premium price being worth it. The Haptic response is just not worth the extra cost. I found myself turning it down to almost off, or off, because I got a headache after it shook my head to much. For $130, or even on sale at $100, I’d look to a normal good quality headset. Personally, I use a 10 year old set of BeyerDynamics DT770 PRO 80ohms on a Monoprice AMP/DAC with a ModMic. This setup is by FAR the best value and listening experience I’ve found. I have yet to find a consumer gaming headset that even comes close to a cheap set of studio headphones.

Pros: Feels like it is built well with quality foam and metal construction. Pretty comfortable even after wearing them for several hours straight. Plug and play without any issues. USB cable has nice sleaving on it and is pretty long at 81 inches. Tested using a Type-C to Type-A USB adapter so I could try these on my OnePlus 7T and they worked great, haptic feedback and all! The microphone can be removed if not needed as well as a hardware kill switch for it to disable it. It is also adjustable so it can setup exactly where you want it. Tested its sound quality and didnt find any issues as it sounds good as expected. Corsair iCUE software detected the headphones right away and has options to control EQ; please stay away from the Bass Boost present as it will just make everything sound muddy with bass. There thankfully is custom control to set the EQ to your liking. Haptic feedback when working is a trip. On a bass heavy song, it literally shakes my face. It adds a level of bass Ive never experienced in headphones. It feels like my head is next to like an 8-inch subwoofer. For those who said they had trouble getting it to work, it is tied to bass, so if whatever is being listened to does not have a lot of bass, you wont feel as much. Also, the default EQ is flat so that is another reason it may be harder to notice. Just set the EQ to Movie Theater or a custom one with higher bass along with the haptic on max and you will definitely feel it. Even in a game like CS GO you can feel it when firing any of the weapons. Cons: Doesnt fold for easier storage Not a fan of the winter camo, plain black would have been better USB cable is not removable, I see no reason why this cant be a Type-C removable cable. They do have some weight to them and will slowly fall off of your head if you look up or down at big angle. Volume slider has a clicker in it so fine tune volume control is possible however, if something is way too loud or too quiet it takes forever to turn it up to a higher or lower volume. The haptic feedback volume wheel is not like this as its just a free wheel thats easy to spin up and down quickly, so not sure why they did this to the volume wheel. Spatial audio removes the custom EQ from functioning and I couldnt really hear any differences with this feature turned on but then again Microsoft has it behind a paywall. Overall Review: Overall, these headphones when using the haptic feedback offer a bass experience unparalleled to any headphones Ive ever tried. If you want to feel bass reverberate through your face just like a real subwoofer can send vibrations through you, then this is a great set of headphones. Otherwise, if you are not a fan of heavy bass, just turn the haptic feedback off and set the EQ to something more to your liking and these are still really good headphones.

Pros: -Comfortable and fits any head size (for reference I am 65 and this fits perfectly with adjustments). -Perfect surround sound/positioning audio. -Clear, crisp audio is great for gaming and/or movies. -Controllable haptic feedback that creates an immersive gaming or movie experience. -Mic is detachable and contains a cover for the port when it is not being used. -USB cable is very long. -Easy to use software (iCUE). -Custom audio presets in the iCUE software. -Compatible with ps4/5 and PC. Cons: -Leather earphones, while very comfortable, create sweat and sometimes stick to my head while gaming. -Only comes in arctic camo, carbon, and a vintage brown. I do love the vintage brown colorway myself, however it is extremely difficult to find for retail and I wish there were more colors. -When trying to use this for my xbox series s, it could not work due to it being a USB connected device, however this can be fixed with a USB to female audio jack connector Overall Review: The HS60 comes amazing out of the box. I was happy the headset was connected via USB as my old headset was using an audio cable, which always messes up after a couple of months. The haptic feedback in this headset is powerful and immersive, for casual or competitive gamers this will be a unique and impressive feature for the user, including from my experiences. The headset allows you to control the haptic feedback and/or volume for your liking. In addition, the surround sound is incredible, in competitive games such as valorant or csgo this headset allows you to get the most of your gaming experience. The price is well-justified as the headset feels premium and sturdy. Overall, the Corsair HS60 is an amazing premium gaming headset, well worth its not-so-premium price tag. This headset will be my daily driver for months and years to come
