Pros: Extremely good picture quality. Sharp and crisp. Continuous shooting is just fabulous. Very good in low light too. Best video shooting DSLR in its own category. Revolutionary auto focus capabilities. You can literally shoot movies with this camera. The 135mm kit lens doesn’t do wonders, but it’s way above the average lenses. I’d say 8/10 Wi-fi and touch screen is really a huge difference in a good way. Don’t forget, devil is in the details Canon is awesome as always with its customer service, apps, updates etc. Cons: Not a real con but perhaps body could be made more solid Overall Review: This camera is definitely the best bang for the buck DSLR camera right now, and I would highly recommend anyone to buy it.

Pros: New focus tech is fast and accurate. Image quality is great. Touch screen interfaces makes some things easier (not all). Controls on the top and back of the camera are very intuitive. Nice solid design. Cons: I can see how it’d be a little bulky for some people, but then those people probably shouldn’t be looking to buy a DSLR. No GPS onboard (higher end models have it, but it should be standard at this point on all) Overall Review: I bought this to replace my finally dead, but very faithful, Rebel XT. I also needed an upgrade since the Rebel XT was just not enough camera for me. I compared this to the Canon 7D and decided the 70D was the way to go. The “interface” is different then the Rebel XT, but very intuitive and quick to pick up. The Focusing system on the 70D is great. I mentioned it before but it’s worth stating twice. Having one sensor to take the image as well as focus is a big leap for Canon and it paid off. Further, the way you can take photos in Live View mode on the touch screen, and just tap on what you want in focus and it snaps the photo…all in one step…is simply amazing. The built-in WiFi is “cool”, but I don’t see a use for it just yet. In the studio it’d be great to immediately offload, basically shooting tethered. I just don’t do much studio shooting. The continued lack of GPS in cameras is depressing, but we all have to deal with it. Only a few higher model Canon DSLRs have it, as do a few Point & Shoot cameras. For the cost of a GPS chipset, you’d think Canon would just throw it in.

Pros: Great FPS, live view, touch screen!!! EF 28-135 is now usable indoors and low light. ISO6400 and even 12800 is fine for me. Performance/cost ratio is awesome! Pro reviews have listed more than I want to type. Suffice to say, it will not disappoint. Cons: Nitpick: top buttons are little mushy. Prefer the hard click. Would also be great if there was a different feel to one of the buttons (similar to the F or J-key on keyboard) so that you can know which button you’re on. Overall Review: So much more advanced options to explore.

Pros: Great low light FPS is good Focus tracking is amazing Video quality is great. Cons: I have not found any cons to this camera yet. Shooting Seniors, family, candid, and weddings with this camera so far. Overall Review: I upgraded fom a Nikon d5100 to this and have been wonderfully impressed so far. The touch screen is awesome, Wifi Smartphone, ipad, PC control is awesome. Manual controls via wifi app is awesome.

Pros: Fast shutter speed for capturing action. Incredibly sharp pictures and the video is extraordinary. I love the built-in wi-fi. Cons: Sound of the shutter is a little loud. Definitely not for photographing animals from relatively close distances. The auto focus during video recording is wonderful, but also a little noisy. When filming in a quiet environment, you can hear the auto focus. I just use manual focus if I’m taking video in a quiet environment. Overall Review: Overall, I love this camera. For the price, this is an extremely good camera. It can only be outdone by spending MUCH more money. Make sure you pair this camera with a fast SD card. It’s worth it!

Pros: Phase detection autofocus, very fast and accurate, grip Cons: None Overall Review: It was a great update from my old T3i. So far I love it. Don’t consider upgrading it from 60D. Picture quality (I think that matters in these camera), and basic feature wise this is quite similar to 60D. But yes, you get good autofocus system compared to 60D.

Pros: Let me start off by saying that this is my first DSLR Camera. When I got it I was very disappointed by the images I took and this was due to me not understanding the camera or photography. So if you find yourself in the same boat please consider that it might be the case that its not camera that’s taking bad images. This camera comes with wide variety of features unlike point and shoot cameras I have owned in the past. I’m not gonna go into details what those features are as there are many places on the internet where you can look up more detailed specs, all im gonna say that pictures look amazing. They look professional grade and I get people who tell me all the time that images are great. Video is great too however I would love if it was capable of 1080p at 60fps. If you are buying this camera you are probably trying to get into photography or its just your hobby, either way I suggest buying a body only and than getting a different lens on the side. The lens that comes with the camera is ok but nothing to brag about. Its just cheap lens. So dont spend your money on it. It should come for free with the camera. I suggest getting Rokinon-FE14M. Cons: nada
