Pros: – The Laptop’s 130w 16gb 3080 runs amazingly and doesn’t seem to thermal throttle or run too hot even with running games at 1440p full settings. – The R9 5800HX hasn’t even gone more than 40% in most the games I play, and in video encoding programs like Handbrake it runs faster than my desktop with a R5 3600 and about the same as my server with a R5 5600g. – Battery life is better than any gaming laptop I’ve used apart from maybe those 3in thick behemoths with multiple batteries….

Pros: Rgb is pretty. Very fast when it games. But you have to game with no sound. Cons: All sound has died. Sound from built in speakers only plays through the subs not the mids on under the monitor. No sounds thru hdmi either. Tried reinstalling drivers. Nothing seems to help. Gpu fan vibrates terribly after gaming for a couple hours. Overall Review: Will be returning unit to asus if i can.
