Overall Review: Building computers for many years, this one, ASUS Z690 Extreme impressed me beautifully. Loved the fact that there is a steel back plate. Working like a horse for a week now, was lucky to be able to buy DDR5 RAM. Did not do any overclocking yet. This board has some serious weight to it. Very happy camper with this new and superfast system.

Overall Review: Awesome motherboard for my 12900k build. I am a first time PC builder, but wanted to go all-in with the new Z690 form factor. Extreme was an obvious choice since I wanted all the bells and whistles which will keep my system future proof for the foreseeable future. It was a straightforward build with very good instructions provided in the manual. I think all the additional features will keep me busy exploring its potential for the foreseeable future.

Pros: Pros: Looks cool Cons: Cons: Ever since I turned on my PC, I have been having issues. The PC will run through every q code for 1-2 minutes before ending on post error 99. I was able to bypass this by going into the bios and selecting “discard changes and exit” and that was the ONLY way to get into windows. After 2 days of use, and having to go through that start up every time I came to use my PC with nothing solving it, my mouse and keyboard stopped being detected. I cannot even access…
