Pros: – XMP profile worked right away despite RAM not being on the QVL (G. Skill F4-3600C18D-32GVK). – PCIe slots do not get throttled/disabled regardless of M.2/PCIe slot configuration. – Reasonable price for dipping your feet into PCIe 4.0. – Clear CMOS button is a nice bonus. – Fantastic number of USB 3.2 Gen1/2 ports on back panel without a superfluous number of 2.0 ports. – Completely default configuration was seeing expected Cinebench R20 scores without any tweaking needed. – Default…

Pros: – M.2 4.0 designated heat sink has thermal pad to cover NvMe drive for cooling, nicely done. – Numerous Fan power connectors with support to designate a profile for the speed by its purpose. (Water Pump/Chassis, CPU1 or CPU2) – Plenty of fan power connectors are placed near CPU, whereas others are placed conveniently on the opposite side where the GPU would reside. -M.2e WiFi PcIE port if you want to add Bluetooth/WiFi module later Cons: -RGB on the chipset and VRM heatsinks is…

Pros: Quality improvements over the B450 model, including dedicated WiFi card slot, integrated IO shield, and PCIE 4.0 enhancements of the B550 chipset Cons: The only negative so far is the RGB lighting stays on even if the PC is powered down. Overall Review: This is the fourth Steel Legend board I have purchased and they are all very good, two B450 boards and two B550 boards serving my family needs.

Pros: I was able to build a smaller form factor PC that looks amazing and is very powerful using this board. BIOS is easy to use. I put it all together and it instantly just worked. Cons: I managed to “reboot” the PC trying to get a USB-C cable plugged in the back but I think that was my fault. There is really, to this point no cons about this board that I have found. Overall Review: FYIs: Make sure you manually turn on XMP memory in the BIOS. There is 6 SATA ports but 2 lanes are used by…

Pros: Purchased to replace/ upgrade from the asrock b550am gaming that originally came with my machine. That board had the m.2 slot removed to save money. Had to hook it up through an adapter which bottlenecked the speed. This board has that slot and as m now getting full rated speed on my Samsung drive. Also it’s ability to be overclocked was big for me Is compatible with much quicker ram than my previous board Can run the latest Ryzen 5000 series processors right out of the gate….

Pros: I really like how it looks nice and sleek. I like the app for the LED controls. I like how that heat spreader for the M.2 is in the perfect spot to actually be used. I had another motherboard that had the heat spreader go to the bottom M.2 slot. First time ever using ASRock and I am definitely not disappointed at all. More usb connections then most which is fantastic, especially since nowadays we use soo much peripherals its not just mouse and keyboard anymore. The past 2 motherboards…

Pros: Beefy vrm that handles anything with big chunky heatsinks ( paired this mobo with a 5800x and a 360 aio ) , good amount of usb 3.2 ports , 2.5Gb lan , pcie gen 4 for vga ( paired with a rtx 3070 ) and nvme , nvme 4.0 runs very fast on the m2.1 slot no throttling under the included heatsink ( paired with Sabrent Rocket Plus 2TB nvme 4.0 reads 7000 writes 6800 ) , 6 sata ports , Realtek 1200s 7.1 sound chip is great and sounds amazingly good , no problems running 2x 16gb of samsung b-die…

Pros: This is such an awesome upgrade from my my old AM3+ system. Boots super fast and the LEDs on the board give it a nice touch. Dropped a 5600x into this and it chugs right along. Board runs cool and the two m2 sockets are a plus. Main m2 runs 4×4 and the second runs 4×2 and shares sata lanes so make sure you use sata plug 1 or 2 if needed. Cons: no major cons that are critical to me at this point. edit as of 11/19/21 – bios update. Ran into problems with BF 2042. When launching the game…
