Pros: Full disclosure: “This review for ASRock review rebate program.” But don’t worry, I’ll shoot straight with you. As the title says this is for use in an unRaid/Plex Server and though, I have used boards from competitors, this is my first journey with ASRock. So far, so good. It booted up straight out of the box and accepted my corsair memory’s xmp, which is a marked difference with my experience with my old Asus Strix B350-F board. Overall: -The Rgb and general look of the board is…

Pros: – Premium feel from the packaging – it includes a a velcro which is ver neat for cable management Cons: – hard to use the xmp profile at first but updating the bios fixed it (this should be a con who only has this as a pc) Overall Review: It’s a good motherboard and will most likely buy it for another build! That RGB looks really good too but I think they should fix the software for it.

Pros: For me this motherboard was plug and play. It came with BIOS version 1.2 which is the one needed for the new 5000 series processors. The BIOS is easy to configure and to navigate. It also has some awesome tools that you can add within Windows to configure PWM control, RGB, Performance, etc. It has been a breeze to say the least. Cons: No bios flashback via button on IO and USB. I didn’t end up needing this, but it is a nice feature in case it ever is needed. Overall Review: I would…

Pros: – Board is very affordable for entry level Cons: – BIOS is lackluster – RAM Slotting is very very picky – Board has seemingly failed after 1-2 months of operation Overall Review: I was very pleased with the board overall, at first. I actually recommended this board to a friend, who I built a PC for. However, one night I got a random screen freeze, I figured just a memory temp issue, then rebooted, problem though was after reboot I had a black screen. I then knew something was wrong. I…

Pros: None. Cons: Did not work. Overall Review: Completely dead on arrival. The LEDs lit up, but there seemed to be no power delivered to other parts of the board – no display and fans didn’t spin. From reading other reviews I’m far from the only one with this problem.

Pros: Worked with Ryzen 5000 out of the box Good power delivery Very good USB connection options AC1220 codec Cons: No Flashback, so if it had not come with a 5000-series compatible BIOS, would probably have needed a 3000-series processor to update first SATA ports right under end of video card, making it difficult to get at them without removing it completely (but at least they’re angled 90 degrees) Plastic piece on front USB3 type A connector isn’t stuck to the board; comes off the pins…

Pros: Stable, looks great, great features/expand ability, relatively fast BIOS update releases Cons: Only one full speed M.2 PCIE 4.0 nVME slot, second slot is half speed M.2 PCIE 3.0 nVME slot Overall Review: Ive had this motherboard since December and its been fantastic for me. I was able to boot my 5900X and update my BIOS and its been stable since through multiple BIOS updates. ASRock has been good about releases AMD AGESA updates quickly and Im generally satisfied with my purchase

Pros: I like that it boots. It really works great with 5600X and G.Skill 3600 cl 14 ram after some voltage tweaking and manual OC. Actually lowering CDDO voltages did a trick running higher speed RAM. Zen 3 architecture is specific. Plenty of 4-pin fan headers. I was going to get X570 Legend but B550 was on sale Cons: Only 1 gen 4 m.2 slot I wish the values in OC Tweker would have a selection to choose from after clicking on Auto so you can at least pick the next value. Instead once you…
