Pros: The real advantage of this motherboard is how ASRock laid out the the PCI-E lanes. You get an additional PCI-E x16 slot from the chipset where most other options at this price point won’t give you that. The VRM layout is nice too. Cons: The EFI isn’t the most intuitive or best I’ve seen. Would be nice if they added an option to disable RGB in the EFI or possibly set some basic RGB options in there. A more intuitive simple layout would also be good but I do have to admit that it does…

Overall Review: I chose this for my first computer because of its b550 future-proofing compatibility and its excellent design. It’s too early to say how well it holds up in the first category, but it outshines the competition (literally) in the second. This motherboard has so far performed excellently in every regard. It was easy to insert into the case, mainly because of the preinstalled IO shield (something I didn’t even consider when buying). This IO shield is also actually decorated in a…

Pros: Good aesthetics and decent RGB control software from my experience Plenty of io options with 7 rear USB type A, 1 type C, and a type C header on the board Built in post code display, power, and reset buttons allow for easy testing 4 total RGB headers (2 3 pin, 2 4 pin Plenty of fan headers Well laid out bios SATA ports and cables are in the optimal location to be hidden by a GPU Nice packaging Cons: Not much bad, only thing is I currently have an issue in Windows getting it to pick up…

Pros: Booted off a 2600x RGB onboard errors codes Power and Reset buttons Cons: Can’t match the RGB color sceme in the product picture. Overall Review: As far as mother boards go, this is one of the best I’ve worked with. Setup was simple and I was able to boot off a 2600x to download the BIOS for my 5600x. I went with the B550 so I didn’t have to deal with the fan on the X570.

Pros: – Many features- Excellent price Cons: – Had to flash the bios to recognize my Ryzen 5600x (not necessarily a problem, just bringing it up so people can see it). Overall Review: – If you have issues installing windows (your installation hangs at the windows logo) then try to flash the bios to the latest version. That’s what fixed the issues for me.

Pros: After owning this board for a year, it is one of the best Ryzen boards out there. Great RAM support, and sound setup. The board is stable, and visually stunning to look at, with plenty of various connectors. Can’t go wrong with this Motherboard. Cons: None. Overall Review: This board gets pretty frequent bios updates, which is nice.

Overall Review: This is my second PC my previous one was an old 4th gen i7 and doing the upgrade was kinda necessary for what I need. I absolutely love how my build looks , this ASRock b550 mobo comes well packed and by the price I got it I think it was a bang for the buck , updating the bios for a 5000 ryzen wasn’t a big problem though considering it doesn’t come with a built in USB to flash the bios like other motherboards on the market. Maybe the only negative thing is the rgb suite that…

Pros: 2 NVME slots with heatsinks. Easy to install. May be the most handsome of motherboards. Runs with an AM4 socket (I am using a Ryzen 3700X and 550 chipset Price is very affordable. Cons: Not a fan of the Asrock Polychrome to control RGB. Overall Review: I would highly recommend this motherboard
