Pros: clear, sharp picture quality, no dead pixels, etc… very simple to use … Cons: malfunctioned after only a few hours – picture flickers, probably a backlamp situation – also, takes a few attempts now, to power it on … Overall Review: malfunction noticed on DAY 30 of ownership, but after only a few hours of total operation – no manufacturer warranty, etc … guess I’m just out $50

Pros: LCD is bright (controls allow you to dim it) Cheap at under $40 shipped considering the specs Controls are easy, auto on/off Many transition effects (I prefer Erase) Options for cropping, auto-resizing (fit to screen), etc I prefer the matte black frame, simple and doesn’t take away from the pictures Cons: Images aren’t quite as sharp if you look very closely but this is a moot point. Doesn’t have built in memory (4GB SD cards are ~$6 now). Viewing angles aren’t great but being a TN panel I expected as much. No built-in hole/latch to hang it. Overall Review: An 8″ frame with 800×600 resolution at under $40 shipped is a great deal. Don’t worry about the relatively no-name company, this is a quality product. I have this on my desk at work and for those power-conscious, I set mine up to be on from 8-5 Monday-Friday. Simple packaging, strong stand (it screws in). Bought one for my brother back in January, he loved it, still working.

Pros: Bright, high res, low cost, easy to use, SD slot Cons: Not crisp like a tablet or laptop screen Overall Review: Great for the money. Not super high resolution but better than most. From a normal distance, looks bright and clear. If you get really close, it will look more pixelated and grainy. No one who sees it seems to notice. Had it for just about one year of pretty constant use – no issues.

Pros: Very nice display for the price Cons: The Auto power on feature works except, when at power on time the device turns on but there is no way to have it display any pictures without pressing a few buttons on the back. Very stupid designers. Overall Review: I bought this for my Mother and Mother-in-law for Christmas thinking I could set it up to display a slideshow for a few hours a day without having to explain how to use it.

Pros: It works for 2 years. Clear pictures. Cons: It stopped working after about 2 years. Overall Review: I got it cheap during Black Friday sale back then, it works well until now. It just turned blank over night for unknown reasons. I figured it was on for too long, but then what is the point of having it if I don’t use it the way it suppose to.

Pros: Displays pictures Has a timer to turn off and on (when it works) Has a remote Did I mention it displayed pictures Cons: We purchased over 30 of these for our business. Returned 12 already and 3 more just went since the last shipment out. The backlights failed on some. Backlights only lasted a few months on others. The timers only work when they want to. Pixel bleeding happened on quite a few models leaving the images all shady with purple and green. Overall Review: The people who are complaining that the Jpegs are not supported need to resize them. It wont display HD or really anything over 1024×768. It is such a hassle having to replace these things everytime I turn around. Some even came in broken, but only one or two. Either way a 50% fail rate is ridiculous. I just wanted to confirm that the negative reviewers are onto something because ordering this many and having such a high fail rate is unacceptable. This company isn’t even dollar store worthy.
