Pros: – Makes dirt look expensive, ESPECIALLY when this is on sale – Reads better than a Samsung 860 EVO SSD (The Team Group SSD is the Benchmark with the “A: 47%” on top) – The cache appears to exist (I haven’t bothered to disassemble it yet, but performance-wise it acts like it has one) – Write speed seems pretty consistent until the cache runs out, (unlike my Samsung 860 EVO which declines in speed linearly for some reason) – Has by far the coolest front cover I have seen on an SSD so far…

Pros: It was cheap, had the right size and performance to fit the build budget. It did the job and didn’t konk out. Overall Review: I hadn’t tried Team Group products before, and I’m pleased that this product performed as it was intended without issue.

Pros: My 2 year old laptop with the conventional spinner hard drive was slowing down and taking a longtime to boot up. I had been thinking about replacing it with a SSD for a while now and with all the pre black Friday sales, I decided to take the bait and buy one. I arrived yesterday and last night I used the Apricon transfer hardware and their USB to serial cable to copy over my hard drive to the new SSD. You never know how successful this will be until you open up the back of the laptop,…

Pros: Simple to install and set up! I am very pleased with this purchase. Cons: Non so far Overall Review: I needed to back up my 27″ IMac. I purchased this SSD based on the good reviews. I mounted it in a clear Orica external case plugged it in then immediately I formatted the SSD with Catalina Disk Utility, fired up Carbon Copy Cloner and in no time the disk was recognized and the cloning started. It was a quick and painless process.

Pros: Installed easily, recognized right away by Windows and Bios. No problemo. Cloned my existing hard drive…eventually…using Aoemi after numerous failed attempts with Macrium Reflect. So not sure if Macrium had difficulty with this drive or Macrium just has difficulty. Aoemi worked with this drive lickety split and now with this as my boot drive she fires up lickety split as well. Happy with it! Cons: Nothing so far. Overall Review: I would recommend, the price and functionality matter!

Pros: -speeds on benchmarks are 20% less than advertised -overall a usable drive durable speeds R/W of 350GBps -runs cool. Cons: -likes light workloads and will hang up for 20-30 seconds at a time in long duration volume or large file copies. -drive features sparse and this is justified by the price. Overall Review: overall as published but does hang up for long periods before resuming R/W operations if doing 100+ GB file copies or VM backups. Worth the cost though it does not perform as…

Pros: Speed. Cons: I have been cloning mechanical drives to SSD drives for several years now and would caution anyone going to a SSD drive to be sure to back up their important data. I have had other brands of SSD’s fail and then not be able to obtain any data from them. With defective mechanical drives, most of the time the data and other information could still be accessed. Overall Review: I cloned a Western Digital WD5000AAKX drive to this Team Group CX2 512GB SSD. Running Windows 7 Pro,…
