Pros: It fits my case, fractal design R4 mid tower. and I’m using Corsair Vengeance DDR3 memory modules with big Aluminum heat spreaders, just using two sticks 2x4g. Keeps my cpu cool, before with my stock cooler and 3570k idle temps were in the rang of 39c to 42c. now with the noctua NH-U14s my idle temps are 30c to 34c with ambient temp of 22c. Cons: none so far

Pros: Temp, noise, durability, warranty and mounting. let me say some words about duabilty and warranty. Noctua is know the world over for build quality and taking care of its customers, 6 year warranty. that alone makes the higher price worth while. noise, also famous for noctua is their lack of noise. this unit run in single or dual fan is no exception. quiet with only a slight high pitch whine. versus my zalman cnps9900 max, which was a jet engine. temps. this thing shines under load….

Pros: We chose the downward-firing version of this cooler for our vintage Core i7-965 Extreme Edition because the components surrounding the cpu socket benefit from having some air blow across them. The ol’ 965 is a 130-watt heat monster, yet the Noctua maintains idle temps. of 32-36 deg. C. and peak temps. while gaming for a hour or more never exceed 64 deg. C. It manages this while running at only 900rpm (using the speed step-down option), and it’s so quiet we use the system as a home…

Pros: easy to install efficient quiet far enough from video card (20mm away on Gigabyte z170x gaming 5 Motherboard), fan installed doesn’t touch RAM Cons: nothing Overall Review: Have it on GIGABYTE Z170X-GAMING 5 LGA 1151 board, i7 6700K with 4×8 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance. Gigabyte Gaming G1 video card on first slot stays comfortable at least 20 mm away from the heatsink. Idle temperature (and during normal use, browsing, etc) is 25-26 degrees, room temperature 23 degrees. Fan is set to run…

Pros: Big and bulky still had room for RAM and Video card. Installed on 7700k kaby lake on a Asus z270E motherboard. Decided to use the included paste in the hardware kit. Not upset at all with the performance. very quiet even under load. Cons: Thinner fans would be nice along with different colors. white on white would be fine and it would reflect the RGB better. Overall Review: highly recommend this product. Specially for those who dont want to gamble on a water cooled system.

Pros: – So far doing an excellent job of keeping my Ryzen 5 1600x very cool. Not as cool as watercooling, but more than acceptable without the issues of watercooling! Cons: – The specs says it’s AM4 ready. Well NO not out of the box. You can get a free AM4 kit from the mfg, but that takes time you didn’t expect. Out of the box IT IS NOT AM4 ready. You must get the brackets for AM4. I seriously thought of taking off an egg due to the bracket, but it works too well and the company gives free…

Pros: Performance Build Quality Warranty Keeps my 4790K 4.7GHZ oc cool Cons: NONE Overall Review: I bought this for my new gaming pc deciding ahead of time not to opt for liquid cooling and take the risks of leaking, pump failure, noise, etc. I almost went for the Hyper 212 Evo as that is probably the most highly recommended single tower cooler on the market, but ultimately decided on the noctua after watching videos and reading reviews on both. What stood out on the noctua for me: – 6 year…

Overall Review: AM4 brackets ARE included in the box (since 2019, according to Noctua’s site). It was unclear from the listing and reivews if the AM4 adapter kit would be needed or not, but I can confirm the brackets included in the box do support AM4. No extra adapter kit necessary. Installation was pretty easy. Had to wiggle it around a bit to get the mounting screws aligned but overall it’s one of the easier mounting systems I’ve used and feels very secure. It is big. Not the biggest out…
