Pros: -Nice new board for the 12700K, DDR4 -3 M.2 Slots Cons: -Bios settings out of the box did not recognize Samsung M.2 -Bios update solved the problem Overall Review: Perfectly fine board once you figure out the Bios update is needed or Bios knowledge necessary to recognize the M.2s. After that issue, no further issues, board works well.

Pros: Seems to be fine Once it would recognize the NVMe drive (from my old system), it booted up my existing Win10 install and loaded the necessary drivers – didn’t have to reinstall all my programs. Just had to re-auth Windows with my old key (was a Win8.1 key) Cons: Did not recognize NVMe drives until I updated the BIOS to version F3 from F1 Overall Review: Recommended

Pros: Everything was great until I updated the BIOS from the stock F1 to the latest F3. Cons: Won’t boot after BIOS update. Tried removing all components, resetting the motherboard, no luck. Be wary if you plan to update the BIOS! Overall Review: Waiting on a ticket with gigabyte, but thinking of just returning this and getting a different brand.

Pros: Lots of features for the price. Cons: Needs a BIOS update to run XMP correctly. Overall Review: There were ways to get it to post with manual settings. Gigabyte seems to have missed the mark with the launch BIOS, but by now the latest revision handles it fine.

Pros: None. Overall Review: This absolute disgrace of a product does not do a single thing properly for me. Even after flashing to the latest BIOS, it is still plagued with the following problems: – Constantly fails to detect RAM in the B1 slot – Constantly runs into boot failures and sends me back to the BIOS – Does not save any XMP settings whatsoever. After entering my settings it will fail to boot, send me back to the BIOS, and XMP will be disabled again. I am beyond frustrated with this…
